We had a great evening with Lee and 1 other couple, exploring Phnom Penh’s food scene and its Russian night market. Lee has a wealth of knowledge about his country, the city and, of course, food. He was informative, insightful and fun! We made 5 scheduled stops in total, travelling by tuk-tuk, which was a great way to get around. And, if we spied something that looked interesting while we were on the go, Lee would pop out and get us a taste. This was much appreciated and very generous of him. We chose this tour because it seemed to have the greatest focus on offering a variety of food and to offer the widest range of eating experiences. Lee delivered perfectly! The tour was well-organised and everything worked seamlessly. Plenty of water and beer was available. We ended our evening in a charming sky bar overlooking the Russian market, for cocktails. Highly recommended.

I always choose some food tours for any place I go to, even if I have been there before. I love seeing and tasting a city through a local’s eyes and tastebuds. I didn’t realise my stay in Cambodia almost completely overlapped with a public holiday that would mean that many places closed down, so I was very lucky to get to go on tour with Yi and Kingdom of Wanderlust Cambodia! Yi showed me yummy local dishes that I never would have been able to pick on my own as there are far too many vendors and too many options to choose from. :-) Everything was fresh and delicious and even though the food was great, I think I enjoyed the stories even more! Yi’s knowledge of history, food, and culture is impressive and I felt like I learned a lot. He was also happy to share personal experiences of his life and travels and I felt like I was hanging out with a new friend. :-) I will definitely be in touch on my next trip to Cambodia to discuss your tours in other places!
