What To Expect
Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is the massive, art deco Central Market.
Royal Palace
The Royal Palace is one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks. The construction began in 1886 after King Norodom relocated the royal capital to Phnom Penh and was completed before World War I. Up until today, the palace is the primary residence of The King of Cambodia.

5.00A perfect introdiction to Phnom Pehn. Out tour guide Tokk was patient, kind, and very knowledgable. He is quite the historian so answered all my questions. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to visit some of the highlights of this city.

5.00Mr Tokk was our knowledgeable and informative guide on this comprehensive tour of Phnom Penh which is perfect for a short first trip to the Cambodian city. Inclusive of culture, sad history and local living, this tour will leave you understanding. This a private tour allows flexibility. Does not include the cost of lunch, but the lunch was local and reasonably priced. The driver was safe, dropped us off near to all sights and provided an air conditioned vehicle with regular cold water. A memorable tour with some great photos.
