What To Expect
Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is the massive, art deco Central Market.
Royal Palace
The Royal Palace is one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks. The construction began in 1886 after King Norodom relocated the royal capital to Phnom Penh and was completed before World War I. Up until today, the palace is the primary residence of The King of Cambodia.

5.00This was an incredible day with many heartfelt thanks to our guide Mr Silong for sharing his extensive knowledge and love for all the monuments he visited with us. Our Buddhist blessing was extra special. My husband was recovering from illness & Mr Silong adjusted the itinerary to suit. Much appreciated. Our driver Mr Ryrain also deserves special mention as he was always on hand with cold waters & cloths. He was courteous & kind and above all a very safe driver. You will be blessed to have Mr Silong as your guide & Mr Ryrain as your driver. We thoroughly recommend this full day tour as a wonderful introduction to Cambodia.

5.00Thank you to our guide Mr Tokk, and driver Mr Ching, who spent 8 hours looking after us today, touring the historical sites of Phnom Penh. Mr Tokk’s spoken english and knowledge were excellent and his manner was easygoing and friendly. The driver prepared fresh towels and cold water after each stop. A long day, but made so much easier by the actions of our guide and driver. Thank you - would highly recommend 👍

5.00Excellent tour of the main sights of the city, including the genocide memorial, which is further away. We did the private tour and the guide Sam was quite attentive and showed to have plenty of knowledge. I recommend it to everyone.
