Kun Khmer is most well known for its kicking technique, which generates power from hip rotation rather than snapping the leg. Kun Khmer consists of four types of strikes: punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes. The clinch is used to wear down the opponent. In the clinch, opponents battle for a dominant position for short-range strikes by way of elbows and knees. Cambodian fighters tend to utilize more elbow strikes than other martial arts in the region. In Kun Khmer, more victories come by way of an elbow technique than any other strike.

What To Expect
The Tuk Tuk driver will pick you up from your hotel and driving to see fighting Kun Khmer traditional kick boxing at TV stadium. The guide will stay with you until finish the boxing after that the driver will drive you back to your hotel or somewhere you would like to drop off.

Ringside seats promising excitement and fun

5.00This was such a fun experience. First of all we are picked up and taken to the venue by the very talented retired kick boxer Vuthy who is very friendly. He also explains the rules and what we are in store for. The seats are ringside and the games are very exciting. An experience I would recommend to anyone wishing to see exceptional athletes leave it all in the ring. Would recommend to a friend.

5.00We were picked up from our hotel in a very timely fashion by Vuthy. Vuthy was very amiable and chatty - telling us about the city and explaining the upcoming experience. Turns out the Vuthy used to compete in Khun Khmer himself so her knew a lot of the officials and fighters. We were sst in the front row right behind the judges so had an amazing view of all the action. The 5 fights and the 2 plus hours absolutely flew by! Would thoroughly recommend!

5.00Vuthy is a living legend. As a former fighter, he made the experience, which would have otherwise been a memorable in and of itself, all that much more fun by virtue of the obvious passion he has for the sport. I can’t recommend this one more strongly as a result. Do yourself a favor and book it next time you’re in town. I promise you won’t regret it.

5.00We Had a superb time, everyone was so friendly the kickboxing was explosive and well presented, the commentary was in Cambodian but you didn’t really need a full description. Would definitely recommend it.

5.00The driver picked me up on time even with the crazy traffic here in PP. I met a good group in the van, it was pretty mixed, people from France, England and Canada...nice mix. There were 6 fights and we ended up with 3 KO's out of 6...WOW. The driver provided us with cold beers and it was a fun night out.

5.00Me and my gf did a traditional Kun Khmer training session whilst in Siem Reap and decided to go to a fight night whilst in Phnom Penh. This was an exhilarating experience, the fighters were incredible - we were blessed to see 4 great fights. It was fun to listen to traditional Khmer music. Our guide was brilliant, he ensured to answer any questions about the traditions of the sport and refreshments whenever we asked. Also, got us engaged with the fighters for a picture after their fights. Also, pictures in the ring afterwards, was another bonus.
