A deeply moving tour. Unimaginable atrocities were committed in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge regime, the effects of which still impacting Cambodians today. By participating in the tour, although difficult, you are able to show support to the Cambodian people by acknowledging what they have been through and remembrance to those lost.

Visiting this site is a memorable experience and a reminder of the atrocities the Cambodian people suffered and continue to suffer for 3 generations. Millions of people died at the hands of a terrible regime and only a short time ago, visiting this site honours these people and helps them to feel supported by the rest of the world.

Wow, amazing tour of one of the worst human tragedies of my life. Our guide, Ron, was awesome. He was a survivor, a child laborer, and lost several family members during the reign of terror. SO knowledgeable and willing to share his story which really brought everything to life for us.

Ran was an amazing guide. As someone who lived through it and was so affected by the atrocities he gave a full account and spared no detail. The trips are heavy so prepare for some shocking truths but it’s an education we all need. I can’t recommend Ran enough.

We went as a group with G Adventures. The guide we had was very informative about what happened during the Kmer Rouge regime. Very sad to see what happened but an important reminder that it can happen again especially with what is going on in the world right now. Please visit.

I found the tour was good and informative. I was a young girl in Canada when this was going on and I didn’t know of it in great detail until today. I am very sad for the human lives that were not respected and taken in such a brutal fashion. I’m sorry for all that was lost!
