It was a pleasure and very informative. And the wine tasting was very good. It was hard, not to buy too much wine ;-)

A triumph! This weekend trip was planned around the main activity, visiting the vineyards…and it was so worth it!!! A fabulous VIP experience, learning about the process of making wine to the final step of consuming the product itself. The venue was truly beautifully decorated and arranged, everything was fresh and delicious and the different types of wine and beverages just divine! It was a real joy to see how he was taking pride and care in the business he and his family have created, it’s so refreshing and wonderful to witness, we felt proud of him and wish him every success! A successful family business that I would highly recommend and it’s definitely worth visiting and staying for a couple of days at their b&b too for some much needed agritourismo. Would highly recommend and would come back to do it all over again!

This was a great experience even if a bit out of the way. The winery was about an hour and twenty minutes outside of Turino by train and then another 15 minutes by taxi. It is probably easier if you have your own car. We made a mistake in our reservation and set it for the wrong date. Our host was very accommodating and allowed us to make the change without any hassle. The tasting rooms on was very comfortable and we tried a series of 7 wines and 2 digestives (distilled alcohol). The was a meat and cheese plate provided with some bread and focaccia. We bought several bottles of wine but decided to pack them rather than ship them due to price (we had extra room in our suitcase for such purchases). Finally, we had our 11 year old son with us and the host provided soda and for him as well at no added charge.

We enjoyed learning about the history of this vineyard. Seeing how the wine making process has changed throughout the years and viewing the old machinery. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
