The Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak are two of the most famous attractions in Colorado, and we’ve packed them into a single tour. You get to explore the giant red rock formations in this National Natural Landmark during your picnic lunch before you ride the Cog Railway to the highest summit in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at 14,115 feet.
Be prepared for communal, conversational seating (meaning opposing rows face each other, typical of train travel). For taller guests, that means you may be knocking knees a bit. To ride comfortably, we recommend that you strategically sit across from a short person. You're certainly not required to chat with the people across from you, even if you came together. But who knows! You might make a friend and have some laughs or a fun "small world" moment. We love those!

Garden of the Gods was the highlight! Absolutely breathtaking. Pike's Peak and Cog Railway were good, and the weather was wonderful - but the Garden was the best.

GUIDE: Aaron was a great guide with a ton of historical and local knowledge that kept the drive time interesting. He is not a showman like some guides, but a personable conversationalist and genuinely helpful human. He’s also a bit of a foodie and made some excellent recommendations for eats in Denver (pozole at La Diablo was a stellar choice!). TOUR/SITES: The weather was generally uncooperative (very foggy at the peak) and lots of rain…but it was still worth it. Looking back, I would have benefited from a bit more guidance on how to maximize time at the Garden, i suggest doing your homework so you know the best route to take. The COG train ride was wonderful…lots of dad jokes from our 21-year-old guide, and so much amazing scenery (sit on the “3-seat side” if you can for maximum views). Donuts and hot chocolate at the summit are recommended :-). Besides having a grumpy seat mate-which is no fault of the tour or guide, this was a wonderful trip and I highly recommend it!

Great tour, fun experience, and Jerry made it fun and educational too. Definitely bring a jacket or sweater as it is cold at the top of pikes peak but the views are amazing. Plan on coming back and doing the tour again with the entire family! Hope we get Jerry as our guide again.

Jason - this guy showed up bang on time and had us checked in and on the vehicle in under five minutes. From the moment we set off until the moment he dropped us off he never stopped talking, laughing, joking and giving us relevant and factual information. An excellent host with incredible knowledge and tips on how to make our experience the very best it could be. The bus was seemingly brand-new in tiptop condition ample room extremely clean and good air conditioning and as a driver Jason was evidently a time served and experienced driver who made excellent progress safely. A really nice guy who knows his stuff and I would have no hesitation in recommending him, the tour and the company, a class act.
