Salt Lake City
Your journey begins in Salt Lake City, where Utah’s rich history meets its breathtaking natural beauty. As you leave the city behind, the landscape transforms — towering mountains frame the horizon, vast valleys stretch into the distance, and the shimmering Great Salt Lake begins to reveal its mysterious pink hues. This captivating route unfolds as a true Great Salt Lake Odyssey, guiding you through places where history, geology, and art merge into a landscape so surreal it feels almost otherworldly.
Our first stop will be the remarkable “Stinky Springs.” Imagine this: mineral-rich water bubbling up from the earth, interacting for millions of years with sulfur compounds deep beneath Utah’s crust. That distinct aroma? It’s the result of fascinating geothermal processes unfolding underground. What truly captivates here is the water’s incredible color — a vivid emerald-green hue shimmering in the sunlight, revealing layers of mineral deposits and creating a mesmerizing natural palette found nowhere else.

We booked Dima for our tour again because he was truly amazing. He always made sure you were comfortable. He had special shoes to wear so that you were able to go in knee deep and truly experience the pink salt water lake. The view and experience was once in a lifetime. We also saw real oil from the ground, salt crystals, and gypsum. Plenty to take home with you. It was an amazing experience I cant stop talking about it. I highly recommend this trip and make sure you ask for Dima, he has great stories. Thank you Dima.

The Pink Lake was a truly once-in-a-lifetime visit with the most incredible lake I've ever seen. We trekked a long way over what seemed like empty space to this hidden scenic lake that had vibrant pink waters and salt crystals. The pictures came out incredible and don't even fully do the experience justice! Just a hidden gem amongst trips in Utah that I would recommend to literally everyone. Amazing!
