It was an amazing experience. Erin is a superb tour guide with a vast knowledge of geology, flora & fauna and astrology. The descriptions on all Pinnacle tours should have the same details especially regarding seasonal changes. Would appreciate that the netted hats be hand out as part of the tour.

Clothing should be layered, bring snacks and water with you. Wear comfortable shoes. And a telascop, if you have.

The highlight was definitely seeing the stars at night at the Pinnacles. The tour guide Monty was very informative and shared his knowledge about the stars.

Monty was a great guide for this tour, he was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The trip took in the white sand dunes of Lancelin, the Nilgen Nature reserve (which had recently burned but it was great to see how everything was already growing back), Hangover Bay, and of course the Pinnacles desert. Monty ran through some local history as well as a few Jukurrpa (Dreamtime stories) which were particularly welcome while staring up at the Milky Way. The star gazing was amazing and Monty pointed out several constellations and other features in the sky. Unless you have a proper camera and long exposure time you won’t get good photos of the night sky, so would recommend putting the phone away and just enjoying! Would recommend this to a friend!

Pinnacles Desert was amazing. Lancelin and Hangover Bay were quick stops and nice to get out and move around. Cloudy night so were unable to do the star gazing. Beth was friendly and knowledgeable. Dinner was nice.
