Perth
Join us on tour for a day exploring some of the West Coast’s most stunning natural regions. Leave behind city life for a one-day treat to some of Western Australia’s best natural wonders.
Guilderton
After 1.5 hours from Perth, we stop to stretch our legs and take in the views from Guilderton Lookout, replacing the Lancelin stop due to its temporary closure. This stunning viewpoint offers panoramic views of the vast sand dunes, which are part of the largest network of sand dunes in Western Australia. The gigantic, snow-white dunes create a striking contrast against the glistening turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean in the distance. The lookout is accessed by 83 steps (15 more than Lancelin) and takes approximately 7 minutes to walk up. With toilets and a cafe available at the carpark, this stop will not affect the overall length of the tour, as the timing remains the same.

Worth a visit! Casper & Erin were great tour guides - fun, friendly and very insightful. It was wonderful to not only visit the various sites but to also learn about the significance.

Our tour guide (also driver) Erin is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and gave us detailed explanations about stuff relating to this trip such as plantation around the areas, history of Perth and constellations. Added to that, she is very energetic and warm-hearted. I would say that Pinnacles is a must go-to spot. The serene atmosphere in Pinnacles with shining stars in the night sky is unforgettable. The sceneries along the trip also broadened my understanding of Perth’s unique natural environment. It was an amazing and educational experience and I appreciate it very much!

Wow what a fantastic tour. The Pinnacles became very spooky as the sun started to go down. They were an amazing site. Other stops at Guilderton and Nilgen beaches were amazing too. The sand was so soft. Oh yeah....Erin....our tour guide/driver/star gazing nerd. You absolute legend girl. So funny, so knowledgeable and a demon at setting out our food under the stars. Without her this trip wouldn't have been as great as it was. Thank you so much Erin for your time. Karl n Jayne,

Pleasant tour although 2.5 hours each way to pinnacles. Unfortunately cloudy skies meant the stargazing wasn't possible. In summary tour felt over priced hence 3 stars

I really enjoyed this trip to the Pinnacles. Our guide, Adam, was brilliant at pointing out things of interest, and made us all feel very welcome and relaxed throughout. It was great to experience this unique place at sunset, and we had plenty of time to explore before the sun went down.

Congratulations to our Guide, Adam- punctual, informative, intelligent and erudite. Can't be easy to be single handed managing a coach load of strangers the whole day. The excursion was enjoyable with the highlight being the Pinnacles themselves, a most unusual, ancient rock formation over a surprisingly wide area, particularly atmospheric in the fading light pre sunset. What preceded felt a bit like too much was being squeezed in, maybe for the best of reasons; to give visitors with little time more "experience" of the mighty expanse of fantastic Western Australia. The stop at Guilderston was pretty enough, with adequate toilets, a friendly shop and (closed) cafe, but 40 minutes or so did not really give a lot of time to explore. The two even briefer "whistle stops" en route were little more than get off the coach, listen to a few facts about vegetation, use more toilets if necessary, try to dodge the all pervasive flies, admire the view and get back on the road. Maybe just one longer and more discriminating stop would be better. After the self-guided wander around the Pinnacles an adequate buffet was laid out which satisfied if not captivated. We secretly amused ourselves watching other folks trying to nab a bit more cheese and eye-up stubbornly unopened remaining bottles of fizzy wine. We admired the now dark night sky, having the stars, constellations and planets pointed out, as well as a distant lightning storm, always a humbling and (though I hate to use a horribly bastardized Transatlantic word) "ahsome" experience. The smooth and secure drive back to central Perth in our reasonably comfortable mid sized coach then took about 2 1/2 hours. Worthwhile, value for money and enjoyable experience, with an excellent guide. Could be improved by maybe a bit more focus upon and fine tuning of the itinerary, a slightly better buffet and better advice on apparel to mitigate against ever present flies- no surprise that the resourceful Adam had what looked like his own apiarist's hat, a clever touch!

It was an amazing experience. So nicely organised tour, accompanied by such a talented driver guide Adam. Adam was so friendly and candid. The tour was so aptly designed to let us see water bodies, deserts and then the sky at its closure. I would like to highly recommend this tour to my friends and family. Thanks Viator and Autopia Teams for making this tour a memorable one. ❤️👍
