It was a cold windy afternoon and evening. The Stargazing experience was less than what I imagined it to be. The star through the telescope looked the same as seen by my naked eyes.

The migrating sand dunes at Lancelin were fascinating and we loved the awesome Pinnacles! So interesting and then the stars came out after dark - fantastic!! And Erin, our guide, was very knowledgeable and good fun - thank you Erin!!

Emma provided a comprehensive and informative commentary. The stops were well spaced and very scenic. The night was clear the sunset was beautiful and the stars were shining! Dinner was plentiful and tasty. Thanks

It's not the operators' fault, but it was completely overcast and rained during much of the trip, which made stargazing impossible and some of the sightseeing difficult. The Pinnacles themselves were interesting but we'd really been looking forward to the stargazing portion. The minibus is pretty cramped; it felt tighter than economy class in an airplane. It wasn't so bad heading down, because we had several stops, but the two-hour drive back to Perth was pretty tight. We were super impressed with the guide, Summer. She had no helpers and did everything herself, including at least 5 hours of driving (in the rain), setting up and taking down dinner, giving us information (including the information we would have gotten had there been stars), and riding herd on the 21 international tour members, and doing it all with a smile.
