What To Expect
Pompeii
At arrival in Pompeii your Skip-the-Line tickets to the ancient site will be much appreciated as you breeze past the long lines and enter into this time capsule of the ancient Roman world. Here you will meet your local, expert, English speaking guide who knows all the hidden corners and interesting tales that are waiting to be discovered inside. Visit the marvelously preserved ancient villas, public baths, restaurants, theatres, and maybe even a brothel, of the ancient world as the past comes to life through the insights and stories of your enthusiastic guide.
Costiera Amalfitana
After some free time for a few last pictures of Pompeii and lunch (at own expense) the tour will continue further south along the picturesque seaside roads of the Amalfi Coast where the Dolce Vita was born. Here your breath will be taken away by the spectacular coastlines as the mountains cascade into the sea and romantic villages climb up the mountains like grapevines.

5.00Our tour guide Lavinia was such a joy on our raining adventure from Rome to Pompeii & Positano. Her positive attitude and humor was very much appreciated throughout the whole trip! She did a great job explaining our itinerary and made sure that we were all accounted for after each stop. Like most tours you have one dedicated bus so you are allowed to leave your bags on the bus while you tour the site. Fortunately, we checked the weather forecast and because this was our fourth time visiting Italy we knew to pack boats, rain jackets and umbrellas! This trip was a solid 13 hours so expect to be exhausted at the end of the day.

5.00Wonderful experience. Highly recommend this trip it’s beautiful place. But make sure you ask for FLAVIO as a guide and ANTONIO as a bus driver. This guide and driver has a so much knowledge about this place. This driver drives same route from last over 35 years and 6 days a week so think about it how much experience he has. They both had an answers of every curiosity and silly questions. I would highly recommend this trip either this people.

5.00Like other reviews have mentioned, this is a very long day. Our guide Viviana was very kind and knowledgeable. She did a great job communicating and getting us through the long day. The views of the Sorrentine peninsula were beautiful, as was Positano. We went in the winter so most shops were closed but it also wasn’t overrun with tourists allowing us to enjoy the calm. Our guide in Pompeii, Willy, was a standout. There’s no way to do all that we did from Rome in less time so just be prepared with water and snacks.

5.00The tour was a really great experience! We thought we would be exhausted after the thirteen hour tour but it was nicely balanced between walking and the drives between sites. It was super easy to find them in the morning and our guide made sure we were all back on the bus after each stop. The tour was well thought out, we had lots of chances to eat and stop for the bathroom. Our tour guide Sabina was really great, very kind, helpful and gave great information about what we were seeing/going to see. Our driver Giovanni and the shuttle drivers were very experienced and kept us on the busy streets the whole way. Overall a really great tour and highly recommend what we did which was Pompeii and the Amalfi coast (the coast in my opinion is unmissable, so beautiful). I would recommend doing a tour like this after you’ve been in Rome a few days and are ready to explore beyond Rome.

5.00Amazing tour gives you a well needed break from Rome with the village side of Italy and the ocean is breathtaking. The tour Guide and the driver helped us out so much and made sure everything went by smoothly and we were accommodated. Throughout the Trip our tour guide Flavio gave us advice and before it finished he also gave us advice on things to do in Rome, go around safely, and good restaurants to eat at. Amazing tour amazing company we booked everything with them. 10/10!!!! The driver Antonio kept us safe and trust me it not easy with the roads.

5.00Our guide Sabina was upbeat and a passionate guide throughout the full day trip. She managed to keep a large group seamlessly organized through many stops and be on time. Sabina shared many interesting stories about Roman history with unique insights and light sense of humor. Her positive energy permeated the entire trip. What a fantastic guide! In Pompeii, a guide Enzo took over. He shared his unique knowledge of the place having participated in the archeological discoveries himself. We felt very fortunate to have him as an expert. A special mention to our driver Giovanni. I don’t know how he managed to navigate all these serpentine roads to the Amalfi coast! When a crowd fell asleep, he would put on a music just prior the next stop so that people wouldn’t startle and wake up gently.
Don't buy the Pizza.

4.00The tour overall was good, the scenery was pretty awesome driving to Positano, and the guide had a pretty cool personality I think the consistent theme I've found with all the tours we took in Italy was "I wish we had more time". With that being said, if I head back there I would spend a full day in Positano and then take my time visiting Pompeii. This way i can see everything at my own pace. On the way to Pompeii they asked the tour if we wanted to buy a pizza from one of the shops after the tour (probably an affiliate deal), I believe the cost was like $20 (don't quote me on that) and it was super average to say the least.

5.00City wonders send a message 7 hours before our tour time . That they have cancelled our semi Private tour and we have select plan B . We were put general Tour bus . Natasha and Sergio from City Wonders were awesome. It was a fun trip
