What To Expect
Pompeii
At arrival in Pompeii your Skip-the-Line tickets to the ancient site will be much appreciated as you breeze past the long lines and enter into this time capsule of the ancient Roman world. Here you will meet your local, expert, English speaking guide who knows all the hidden corners and interesting tales that are waiting to be discovered inside. Visit the marvelously preserved ancient villas, public baths, restaurants, theatres, and maybe even a brothel, of the ancient world as the past comes to life through the insights and stories of your enthusiastic guide.
Costiera Amalfitana
After some free time for a few last pictures of Pompeii and lunch (at own expense) the tour will continue further south along the picturesque seaside roads of the Amalfi Coast where the Dolce Vita was born. Here your breath will be taken away by the spectacular coastlines as the mountains cascade into the sea and romantic villages climb up the mountains like grapevines.

4.00The tour of Pompeii was terrific. Also, the Amalfi coast views are beautiful, and it was nice to have time to walk the streets of Positano — though most shops and cafés were closed because it is January. Be aware that you spend most of your time on this tour in the bus (at least it’s comfortable), and 13 hours is a very long day. We did have a helpful guide (Heather) and a skilled bus driver (Rommel?). Options for food are minimal, and our lunch at Pompeii was not good. I would definitely recommend having a hearty breakfast before you go, or bringing some food and drink with you. Also, restroom stops are few and far between.

5.005/5 Pari and Luca were amazing. We had a local guide for Pompeii that was great! This trip was so amazing. I loved walking around Pompeii and I had a great time later at the beach. I was so excited to hear about how one of the locations featured in the Odyssey. Pari made sure we were all comfortable and to try to get families seated together. She talked to us about history and archaeology. Luca did a fantastic job on some fairly scary roads. I have a couple of issues. My lunch was very small and not very good. I think the company should consider suggesting a different restaurant. The other issue is more for the local guides. They should schedule 10 minutes at Pompeii to let us look at the gift shop. We just had to rush through and it was a missed opportunity to buy books or postcards on Pompeii. Overall I highly recommend this tour, it's the best way to see these amazing sites.

5.00Excellent trip well organized and planned, very punctual team Enrica is a highly enthusiastic host and made the experience worth it. Donello was a great driver and we had an excellent tour of the ruins of Pompeii with a great Local guide named Giorgio Driver along the amalfi coast was smooth and seamless, we had mini vans to escort us there. I must say this has been one of the best trips of my life

5.00We booked last minute as we planned to visit Pompeii and we couldn’t have asked for better tour guides the experience was impeccable and our guide the amazing Enrica was the ideal companion accompanied by the efficient Daniello our driver. Enrica brought life and enthusiasm to the whole experience Turing it into a beautiful day which I will never forget and couldn’t have asked for better people to make it a day I will never forget couldn’t recommend these lovely people more they were perfection personified.

5.00Amazing way to spend a LONG day! We left Rome in the dark and returned in the dark. Was able to experience these wonderful spots all in one day. My only negative would be the leg room on the bus...built for shorter people (I am of average height 5'10"). However, I would definitely recommend thus trip! Great day!!

5.00We loved the tour. It was rainy and overcast, but worth it. Marius was a knowledgeable, caring, and excellent guide. We left Rome by 8:00 am and after approximately 90 min, stopped for bathroom break. Then on to our next stop for Limoncello, which was pretty tasty. Then we headed to Sorrento, where we had almost two hours — it’s a gorgeous place. After lunch we headed to Positano. It’s amazing how the homes have been built literally on the side of the mountainous area. This trip in the summer likely is much better.
