Luggage is not permitted on the coach. Please note that luggage storage is not available.

What To Expect
Archaeological Park of Pompeii
At arrival in Pompeii your Skip-the-Line tickets to the ancient site will be much appreciated as you breeze past the long lines and enter into this time capsule of the ancient Roman world. Here you will meet your local, expert, English speaking guide who knows all the hidden corners and interesting tales that are waiting to be discovered inside. Visit the marvelously preserved ancient villas, public baths, restaurants, theatres, and maybe even a brothel, of the ancient world as the past comes to life through the insights and stories of your enthusiastic guide.
Amalfi Coast
After some free time for a few last pictures of Pompeii and lunch (at own expense) the tour will continue further south along the picturesque seaside roads of the Amalfi Coast where the Dolce Vita was born. Here your breath will be taken away by the spectacular coastlines as the mountains cascade into the sea and romantic villages climb up the mountains like grapevines.

5.00It was a looong day but thankfully our guide Eduardo and driver made it fun but not overwhelming. Many restroom breaks helped as well. Positano was a nice counter balance to Pompei.

5.00This tour was a long one but I can honestly say it was one of the best. Our tour guide Eduardo, graduate from university with a degree in history with an emphasis on médiéval European history. Besides that he is funny and a master at keeping us engaged despite the long day. We learned so much about our destinations and about Italian culture and food. My husband and I love it when we come away from a tour knowing a lot more than we did before we started. Thanks City Wonders!!

5.00Eduardo is an artist. He is passionate and knowledgeable; he has a sense of humor, and he also knows when to be serious. He makes the tour come alive and adds so much more to your experience than you could ever hope for on your own. This is one of the harder tours to run because there's a lot of travel time from Rome to Positano to Pompeii and back to Rome. I can't imagine doing that with a guide that doesn't take it as seriously as Eduardo does. Thank you for a great tour, friend!

1.00I would not recommend this tour. It was very chaotic and rushed. We were supposed to have 2 hours in posotana for shopping and eating but we only had 1 hour which was not near enough time before having to rush back for bus so we wouldn’t be late. Pompeii had a great tour guide but again it was very rushed due to time issues. The lunch they gave us which wasn’t until 5:00(not really lunch) was cold pizza we had to eat on the bus on the way home. Again bc we were rushing. Save your money and rent a car to do it on your own. You’ll enjoy it a lot more.

4.00Long trip. the coast is beautiful but we went on a very busy day and had a lot of traffic. the time at Pompeii was cut shorter than needed. From Rome it is a 2 1/2 hour trip each way without traffic.

5.00Had an amazing time on this tour and it was definitely worth it. Our tour guide Eduardo was very knowledgeable and interactive, gave the history of all the places we saw and some recommendations for while traveling. What I also liked is that if you’re in Rome only for a few days, you’re able to see more of Italy without having to plan your own transportation. Optional, but a bonus was having lunch provided especially since it’s a long day. The Amalfi coast was beautiful and would do this type of tour again next time I visit Italy.

5.00Michela was a terrific host & guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the area & had a very good sense of humour. She was very precise in how she advised of the schedule for the day. We enjoyed the tour very much but found that because it was such a long ways to go we didn’t have a lot of time at each place. Other than that it was terrific
