5.00We had a great time touring Pompeii. Our guides, Michaela and Theresa were wonderfully knowledgeable and had so many interesting stories. This company is so professional and well organized and I would definitely hire them again should I return to Italy!

3.00In hindsight, there was just too much that was too far to do in one day. Our main tour guide was nice, but everything felt so rushed. We had 15 minute restroom breaks. Positano was maybe 60 minutes - just enough time to walk down the hill, grab a sandwich, and take a pic by the water - under the threat of the shuttle leaving without you. The Pompeii tour was a cursory 45 minutes, followed by mid pizza (that you kinda had to get or starve bc there wasn’t time for anything else.) Granted, there was a giant thunderstorm which added to the time crunch, but I feel the guide’s insight still wasn’t extensive. Save yourself some money and get to Pompeii by train from Rome, and book a private tour guide, or spend a night or two on the Amalfi coast. This tour was not worth the amount of money spent.

3.00The tour guides and driver was great. The event came to a disappointing conclusion when a landslide prevented us from seeing the Almafi Coast. We spent more time on the bus than the tour due to this. I hope a refund is given.

5.00It’s a long day, but wonderful! Pompeii is an amazing place, so perfectly preserved for us to learn about ancient times. Seeing Mt Vesuvius and its indolent power has been a life long dream of mine. I was there this week, in a heat wave and still, there were spots along the way to duck out of the sun. You can see you these people lived and died, and the construction skill is something we should all learn from - particularly those of us in the USA. The guide was lovely, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Stopping on the Amalfi coast - even if we just had a few hours - was well worth the travel. Bus was comfy, process was smooth overall, City Wonders guide was super helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend.

5.00Wonderful taste of the Amalfi Coast and amazing town of Positano! Beautiful views overlooking Sorrento from the high road passing around town, then an eye-opening tour on the grounds of the Pompeii ruins, which are much more vast than you might expect. Heather was a great guide!

5.00I would give Rob a 10+. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us informed and entertained the entire trip. There was no down time with him. He used every minute to teach us a new aspect of the Amalfi Coast, Positano or Pompeii. On the way back, he shared with us about “his” Rome and gave us great recommendations. He constantly checked in with every individual on the trip to make sure everyone was taken care of. Loved the trip. If I had one recommendation to give it would be that the tour guides take the time to walk anyone who is interested to the perfect picture spot of the Amalfi coast. It wasn’t easy to find, but it was there. Either way, this doesn’t detract from the amazing trip and the great job Rob did. Thank you, Rob!!!!
