Luggage is not permitted on the coach. Please note that luggage storage is not available.

What To Expect
Archaeological Park of Pompeii
At arrival in Pompeii your Skip-the-Line tickets to the ancient site will be much appreciated as you breeze past the long lines and enter into this time capsule of the ancient Roman world. Here you will meet your local, expert, English speaking guide who knows all the hidden corners and interesting tales that are waiting to be discovered inside. Visit the marvelously preserved ancient villas, public baths, restaurants, theatres, and maybe even a brothel, of the ancient world as the past comes to life through the insights and stories of your enthusiastic guide.
Amalfi Coast
After some free time for a few last pictures of Pompeii and lunch (at own expense) the tour will continue further south along the picturesque seaside roads of the Amalfi Coast where the Dolce Vita was born. Here your breath will be taken away by the spectacular coastlines as the mountains cascade into the sea and romantic villages climb up the mountains like grapevines.

Great option, but be prepared for a long day!

4.00This is a long day but it is a great option if you really want to see Pompeii and Positano in one trip. We had a fantastic tour guide for the day, Alessandra. We also had a great guide at Pompeii. The one drawback was that the trip back to Rome was VERY long due to traffic leaving the Amalfi coast. We mentioned to our tour guide that it may make more sense, for this trip, to go to Positano first and then Amalfi so that you aren't leaving Amalfi at the end of the day along with everyone else. I think this would be especially true on weekend day. We were there on a Sunday in April. The weather had been beautiful all weekend, so it was extra busy and crowded.

5.00Our tour was a great experience. It was a little over 13 hours so do be prepared for an all day event. It included quite a bit of driving (coming from Rome) but the bus was comfortable. They did have to put us in vans for a short bit to get into Positano, and if you are a tall or larger person, you will be uncomfortable for this duration, as there was virtually no leg room. We had two different guides. One was the “main” guide who was along the trip from the beginning to end. He was fantastic and really knew a lot of information that he shared with us along the way. We had a separate guide for the Pompeii duration. His name was Willie and he was hands down one of my favorite guides I’ve ever had on a tour. So funny, knowledgeable and always keeping us laughing and seeing everything we could want to see. We stopped at a Limoncello factory for about 15 minutes which was nice to help break up the time in the bus. Positano was nice but with under an hour and a half there, you are spending half the time walking up and down, so be prepared for some exercise.
Pompeii is a must see!!!

4.00Laura was a wonderful guide and Luca a wizard driving the tour bus. Laura gave us interesting historical information while on the bus and our guide for Pompeii was extraordinary (Luigi). I could have gone without the stop in Positano, which although lovely, was so crowded and we barely had time to eat and walk back up to the meeting spot. I would have just done Pompeii.

5.00Just returned from this trip Jonathon was our guide, he was knowledgeable , funny and made the experience more enjoyable by telling us facts as we travelled A long day but def worth it , pompeii was amazing and the guide which was provided was also knowledgeable and funny , it was a bit whirlwind but saw everything that I had always expected to see , finished off with Positano , wow a beautiful place Would def recommend this trip

We had an excellent tour guide, Erica, who was our “Mama” thru the whole day, organized our activities, time management, loaded us with tons of useful information and answered all our questions. Extremely knowledgeable and possess great sense of humor. Our tour guide in Pompeii was excellent too. Long day, but we’ve covered all itinerary and some extra. Definitely worth every penny. We enjoyed this trip very much. Thank you, Erica!

4.00Everything was wonderful. It was a long day but was well worth it. Our tour guide Laura was excellent. You never felt rushed and they made sure you didn’t get overwhelmed. I would have given the tour 5 stars but the tour guide for Pompeii, while was an English speaking person, was very hard to understand. We missed out on a lot of valuable information because we couldn’t understand him.

5.00This was an exceptional tour. Our guide, John, was very informative. We loved seeing the Pompeii ruins. Roberto, the Pompeii tour guide, was also very knowledgeable. The bus ride was comfortable. We toured the Diamante Lemoncello factory and tasted delicious lemon and mango drinks. Positano and the drive along the Amalfi Coast was the highlight of our day. We walked down to the beach - gorgeous setting that you won’t want to leave. We had a lemon sorbet in a frozen lemon - delicious. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Excellent day out with Jonathan as our guide- knowledgable and answered all our questions. Pompeii was an amazing sight in person and stretching our legs and dipping our feet in the water at Positano was worth the drive. Well organized tour and well worth the price.
