Our driver, Roman (sp?) was wonderful and very knowledgeable about Rome, the Amalfi Coast, and Positano. He kept us on schedule despite a mishap that was no fault of his own. I wish the free time in Positano could have been a little longer but were still able to see the sights.

You spend a substantial amount of time on the bus ride there and back, that being said, the ruins in Pompeii are extraordinary, and the views and Positano are outstanding. It is also a lot of walking, so be sure to stay hydrated.

This trip was so wonderful. The price is just right. Viator says it’s approximately 12 hours, but I think that needs to be updated. Even before we left, our tour guide told us the experience would be a total of about 14 hours, and that wasn’t including traffic. It’s a big difference telling your family members that you’ll be back in time for dinner, when in fact, you won’t be haha. It was also not in the schedule that dinner was included for 18 euros per person after Pompeii, if you wanted to partake in that experience before heading back to Rome. The meeting/pickup experience was terrible. We almost missed our tour! We booked the 7:10 group, and my husband and I arrived at the meeting spot at 6:48am. We saw a line, and got into the line to check-in. We were told by one of the City Wonders guides that the line was for the 7am and to sit on the stairs until the 7:10 group was called. We sat on the stairs and I waited until she called for our group to check in. While standing in line, someone else called my name, and told us that our group had already left the piazza and was waiting for us across the street. I told him the woman checking in the folks in the line told us the previous line was for 7am and to wait on the stairs, he told me that line was for 7:20 not 7:10. We had to run to catch our group and that whole experience was very frustrating. Other than that, the tour was fantastic. My husband was having bad motion sickness and our tour guide Sarah was very kind to check in often and make sure he was doing okay. We had a great time at Pompeii and Positano, and the views were magnificent. Thank you Sarah and Danny for everything!

We had a great day, headed to Pompeii and Positano with Kler. Though it was a long day, this was to be expected, coming from Rome. We had a very informative guided tour through Pompeii. Tasted limoncello at the factory. (Unfortunately the factory wasn’t really operating at the time, so we didn’t really see the process). Then on to Positano for free time. Kler made a lot of good recommendations and made sure everyone was looked after. Highly recommend

John, our guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining on our full day tour. Pompeii was incredible, and our local guide Fabio, was also great. Overall, totally recommend this trip for families with older teens.

We had a great time on our trip. Jonathan was wonderful as was our driver, Paolo, and our Pompeii tour guide, Bernadetta. Check in was fairly easy with the exception of being unsure where to check in first. The ride each way is long so I recommend bringing a book or something for entertainment and definitely some water. There is a pit stop each direction where you can grab drinks, snacks, etc. Say hi to Juanito too! :) I will definitely recommend this to my clients.

The visit to Pompeii was very rushed. The tour guide was knowledgeable but we did not have enough time to linger and see the artifacts. The visit to Positano was very pretty but extremely touristy and crowded. Overall good trip but wish we had more time.

Sarah was great. It is a log day, but there are many opportunities to stop and take bathroom/rest breaks. The coast is beautiful and very much worth the time. Positano is beautiful and the shops are great. The tour guide for Pompei was knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions and explain things. The views from the bus along the coast road are breathtaking, have your camera ready at all times.
