Excellent tour. Lavinia was an awesome guide! And Valerio was a great driver. They had to flip the day with the morning in Positano and the afternoon in Pompeii, but that all worked out. The lighting in the afternoon was gorgeous in Pompeii and there was less crowds at that time of the day.

Rather than talk about the beauty of the places this tour takes you, I'll tell you what's more important to ensure you, too, have an amazing, turn-key experience. Antonino and his driver D are an absolute pro team in a executing a complex itinerary and making the day pure pleasure for their guests. Antonino is a wealth of knowledge, but carefully curates his messaging to make the learning easy; we are on vacation after all. I am actually quite shocked thos tour is not twice as expensive as it is; the value Antonino and his many cast of fellow tour professionals create commands a much higher price. I took 600 pictures in 13 hours; I learned world history and feel more connected to Italian history as well. Thank you.

We had a great time! Would definitely do again and Flavio was a great guide. If you’re tall (over 6 ft, make sure you get an aisle seat on the bus. Leg room is tight.

Absolutely loved this tour. Fabio gave the most amazing tour of Pompeii, learned and saw so much. The Amalfi coast was amazing and got to see an amazing sunset. Our other tour guide Veronica was also amazing and gave us so much useful information.

Had a wonderful day seeing the amazing Pompeii and then the Amalfi coast and a brief taste of Positano. It was a very long day but very efficiently run and the guide in Pompeii was fantastic!

a. We took the pompeii and Positano tourbonna Saturday. The company is easy to find.in the plaza as they all have flags. They had everyone line up to check in, by last name only didn't scan our tickets,. Then we got broken up by what time our bus left. We walked over to the buses which was about 5-7 min walk from Piazza. Our tour guide was Fabricio and he was very excited and enthusiastic the whole day. Our driver was Daniel. He started off the day by going over the day itinerary. The wifi on the bus is unfortunately a bit spotty at times. There are no outlets or bathrooms onboard. There is storage for small bags if needed. I also felt the bus was a bit cold and was pretty thankful I brought a jacket. The seats are kind of small, if you’re closest six speed or over it, you’ll be pretty cramped. The bus was pretty much. There are only two seats left open on our bus, but our tour guide was really kind enough to try and make sure that everyone who was together could be seated together. The meeting point was at one of the squares near the metro so it’s easy enough to get to. There were tons of Citi wonders tour guides all over the square so it seemed like there were several different tours leaving right around the same time. We each got wristbands and as soon as it hits 715 we were on our way to the bus, which is actually parked a little bit away from the Square. Our tour guide spent the nearly the entirety of the bus ride there and back talking to us about Rome and Maples and different points in history. At one point it was interesting to learn everything but on the way back we were all just so exhausted that we just wanted to sleep. Our first stop was a Limon cello factory where we went on a quick tour to see how they make their Limoncello got a couple of samples and were encouraged to buy something from the store. We weren’t interested in buying anything, but this place was a really good viewpoint to take pictures of Sorrento. Here the big bus divided into smaller buses so that it could make its way through the roads of Positano. The second stop was down the multi coast straight to Positano. You wanna make sure you’re sitting on the right side of the bus for this because otherwise you won’t get any good views of the water. We got to Positano and park the bus and had about two hours to explore the little city on our own. Our tour guy gave us some recommendations on where to eat and I’m glad he did because everything else was so outrageously expensive and overpriced. We went to a couple of stores and considered shopping but again everything was so overpriced because they know this is basically a tourist run city. The beaches were also just packed so it didn’t make sense to even try and go into the water. After our two hours are we’re up. We met back at the bus and when we are on our way to Pompeii. There we had a short guided tour of the city and this involved quite a bit of walking. Our tour guide made a recommendation if we wanted to eat dinner at this restaurant right across the street from Pompeii where we could get authentic Naples pizza, a drink, a sweet just for the low price of €18. Since majority of the bus agreed, we did make this stop, which added a little bit of time but it was actually worth it. The pizza was really good and a little dessert was something I hadn’t tried before. After that, we went back on the bus and headed straight home. This was a great tour and a great way to see the Amalfi coast in Pompeii pretty quickly. If you don’t have much time to do it on your own. I would recommend this again in the future.

I really enjoyed the trip to Pompeii and Sorrento. Our tour leader, Kler, was a fun and professional guide. When I got lost in Sorrento and missed my tour, I felt frustrated because I couldn’t find the meeting point. I called City Wonders for help, and the assistant, Edoardo, was very helpful—he quickly contacted Kler and arranged for me to join another tour led by Chiara who was very kind, helped me recover my belongings from the previous group, and made me feel much better. I felt secure and comfortable throughout the experience. City Wonders truly has a professional and caring team.
