This experience combines the two archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, famous for the eruption of Mount Vesuvius happened in 79 AD.
Join the guide at the entrance of Pompeii ruins called Porta Marina Inferiore, where the tour starts.
Discover the site and its best highlights with the assistance of an expert Archaeologist.
You will see the Forum – the main square – the most important houses and buildings and the famous plaster casts.
After the tour take a quick break, then reach the site of Herculaneum by the local metro line called Circumvesuviana at a few steps from Pompeii entrance.
End your tour with the site of Herculaneum, smaller than Pompeii but better preserved: visit the beach where more than 300 skeletons were found.

5.00Traveled with Askos and unfortunately forget the tour guides name but we did the morning English tour and she (our guide) was great! Herculaneum was a city I had never heard of before this trip. It was cool to see but also see the tragedy of that cities end. We had great insight on everything and it’s incredible what they are able to discover from what they have unearthed at this ancient City. As for Pompei it was huge. I had no idea the City was that big so having an expert guide maneuver us through the ruins and explain the ins and outs of this ancient city was a huge plus. I highly highly recommend getting one! We were in a small group as well so it was a great experience. Our guide also recommended an amazing pizza spot for lunch in between tours.

5.00For over 60 years I’ve wanted to see Pompeii. Our guide was Mario, who has worked on Pompeii as an archaeologist and he was spectacular. We were unprepared for how massive Pompeii was and pleasantly surprised by Mario’s navigation and wealth of knowledge. The real gem was Herculaneum which is absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend this tour and specifically Mario

5.00Having never visited either site, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The tours of both areas was well organized. I learning so much. Please be advised that you will need to walk on uneven surfaces, so wear walking shoes.
Absolutely must do excursion.
