This experience combines the two archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, famous for the eruption of Mount Vesuvius happened in 79 AD.

Join the guide at the entrance of Pompeii ruins called Porta Marina Inferiore, where the tour starts.

Discover the site and its best highlights with the assistance of an expert Archaeologist.

You will see the Forum – the main square – the most important houses and buildings and the famous plaster casts.

After the tour take a quick break, then reach the site of Herculaneum by the local metro line called Circumvesuviana at a few steps from Pompeii entrance.

End your tour with the site of Herculaneum, smaller than Pompeii but better preserved: visit the beach where more than 300 skeletons were found.

The tour was very well organized and our guide who was an archeologist was very well informed and funny, keeping the information engaging and interesting. The highlight was the Herculaneum tour, with incredibly well preserved artifacts and homes.

Fantastic experience to see both on the same day, it gives you person what happened and the different lifestyles. Our guide, Antonio was brilliant and gave so much more information than just doing it solo.

The tours of both Pompeii and Herculeaneum were amazing. Our guide, Alfredo, was very knowledgeable about each location and provided an excellent narrative around the places that we visited. I would not have enjoyed the tour as much without his stories and the historical background of each site. I highly recommend that people experience both sites as they are very different, not only in what happened, but also in the historical architecture of each city.

Overall excellent tour. Pompeii felt a bit rushed through, but probably because of the larger crowds than in Herculaneum, which ended up being our favourite part of the tour!
