This experience combines the two archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, famous for the eruption of Mount Vesuvius happened in 79 AD.
Join the guide at the entrance of Pompeii ruins called Porta Marina Inferiore, where the tour starts.
Discover the site and its best highlights with the assistance of an expert Archaeologist.
You will see the Forum – the main square – the most important houses and buildings and the famous plaster casts.
After the tour take a quick break, then reach the site of Herculaneum by the local metro line called Circumvesuviana at a few steps from Pompeii entrance.
End your tour with the site of Herculaneum, smaller than Pompeii but better preserved: visit the beach where more than 300 skeletons were found.

Killed my vibe with modern mall

3.00This tour felt very rushed, I love the headphones so we can hear the guide but he was so fast we lost connection many times. Lunch at the mall killed the vibe of being in an amazing archeological site and was poor to say the least, would recommend staying in the Pompeii are for food or extra time to explore, suggest packing picnic lunch. This could have been an amazing experience but sadly fell short of capturing the historical magic.

5.00The experience was amazing!! The rainy weather didn't help but our guide made the day interesting! I recommend taking this guided tour so as not to lose any details of how they lived in ancient times; it is not the same to see and visit a marked point on a map as to hear an expert’s explanation of an archaeologically invaluable place.

5.00Despite a bit of rain and wind, this was a marvelous experience. Michele was a fantastic guide through both Pompeii and Ercolano. The meet-up spot was easy to find, and the van travel to and between the sites was efficient. This tour was the highlight of our trip.

5.00Had Paolo as our guide at both sites. He was extremely knowledgeable and a font of information to share. Can feel his passion for archeology! Took the train from Sorrento to Pompeii where we met Simmona who did the initial meet up and then helped with the train transport to Herculaneum. An excellent day with learning about two fascinating sites of ancient history.

4.00The tour was very well organised, and our guide, Michele, was great. Very knowledgeable, he explained everything in details and patiently answered questions. We visited Hercolaneum, which is smaller than Pompei, in about two hours, which felt like a good length for the visit. Pompei, in the morning, was also two hours, which was definitely way too short. It would be interesting to have a little bit more time, as the site is huge. In both locations, the tour also felt a bit rushed at times, without a lot of time to take in the things we were looking at. I would have given 5 stars if we had had more time, with an earlier start in the morning for example. That said, both sites were extremely interesting, and as mentioned, the tour was well organised.
