We visited Pompeii and climbed Mount Vesuvius with the agency. Both tours were excellently guided; both guides provided very interesting information, historical context, and stories, and were open to all our curious questions! The walking pace was adapted for all ages, and overall, the organization was top-notch, with no unnecessary rushing! Special praise goes to our guide Mario, who shared a wealth of authentic information with us from a “local’s” perspective, making the climb/descent feel much shorter 🙂 Highly recommended!

Askos cancelled our trip less than 24 hours prior. Completely left us scrambling to try and make other arrangements. DO NOT use this unprofessional company

The hike is absolutely doable—but don’t let that fool you. I made plenty of “strategic” and "photographical" stops along the way 😄. You’re climbing a steady 12% grade for about 20 minutes, with a few short bursts that feel more like 18% just to keep things interesting. But once you reach the top… wow. Standing at the edge of the crater is one of those moments that makes every step completely worth it. We had a guide named Mario—super knowledgeable, quick with a joke, and clearly passionate about what he does. If you have the option, definitely ask for him. The only downside? It was extremely cloudy, so the views were pretty limited. That said, it didn’t take away from the experience. There’s something surreal about standing on a volcano that wiped out entire cities. All in all, a once-in-a-lifetime experience—one you’ll be proud to say you did (and survived 😁).

The Pompei tour with Guide is fantastic, the tour guide is very knowledgeable and funny, keep everyone interested all time. however, the guide for the Mt. Vesuvius is a bit casual.

Touring Pompeii with an archeologist is absolutely eye opening! You'll not regret it - but plan to remain and explore at least 3 hours past the tour.

Well structured visit to Pompeii in a small group. Excellent guide, Camillo Sorrentino, who illustrated with passion and with the right level of detail history, monuments and anecdotes. An immersive experience that transports you out of time for almost three hours, making you forget the strangely bitter cold for the end of March. Much certainly remains to be seen but a first approach undoubtedly positive.

Both of my guides were excellent for Pompeii and Vesuvius. They were knowledgeable and had great descriptions and explanations of the ruins and their society. Simona was our guide up to Vesuvius summit, she was wonderful and encouraging to those of us that struggled a little to make the climb. I did it! If I can do it almost anyone can. It was an amazing experience and view. I recommend this tour for sure!
