We did a tour of the ruins of Pompeii we had an excellent guide. She was thorough in her explanations and made sure we had enough time at the end to eat. There is one place/rest/eat/use the restrooms in the ruins. The second part was a tour of Mount Vesuvius with Mario. He was a great guide and offered great explanations of the volcano along with the history of the volcano and surrounding are of Pompeii and Naples. The groups were small and made it easy to follow and listen in to what our guides said. We would highly recommend this tour.

This is a very exertional hike up Mt Vesuvius and the uneven ground in both locations are challenging for anyone with mobility issues. However, it was great day, the archaeologist was very informative and the hiking guide very cautious and attentive. It was basically like two different tours and after the archaeologist left us in the ruins area, we had to find our way back to the front, try to find food and restrooms on our own before meeting the afternoon hike guide.

A brillianjt day and I would thouroughly recommend it, especially if you want to pack in a lot into one day. The morning tour at Pompeii was informative and the tour guide (I'm sorry I can;t remember her name) very pleasant and chatty. She managed to naviagte the crowds and got us into all sorts of places we may have ambled past if on our own. We then had an hour or so to stroll around and have a break before Mario picked us up and took us in the minibus up Vesuvious. Again, entertaining and informative. Great views - we were lucky with the weather. All sorts of vulcanology information and a great walk.

The tour guides were very knowledgeable and excited to share with us what they knew. We could definitely have spent more time in Pompeii just trying to see everything but heading to vesuvius after was definitely worth it

The tour of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius was successful all around. In Pompeii we got an exciting and vivid insight into ancient life and the tragic volcanic accident – absolutely impressive and definitely a must-visit, especially because of the exceptionally good state of preservation. Another positive aspect was that there was still time to explore the extensive grounds on your own. The ascent to Mount Vesuvius was also a highlight: a nice group and with Mario a great guide who convinced with a lot of background knowledge and always responded considerately to all participants. Clear recommendation!

Both the Pompeii and Vesuvius guides were great. We had a lot of time to explore both sites and we're blown away by how great the day was.

Visiting the ruins of Pompeii was very interesting, but this is thanks to the explanations provided by the guide Sara who explained and told many curiosities!

The pick up was spot on. We're headed first to Vesuvius. The guide Mario was very friendly and was explaining stories and curiosities of Vesuvius. Upon reaching the entrance, we had 2 hours to get up and down, enough time. Then we went to Pompeii making a first stop at a shopping center for 1 hour, to eat, whoever wanted. Upon arriving in Pompeia, Mario left us with another guide. Thanks Mario for your explanations and sympathy. In Pompeia, the guide was Paul. We spent 2 hours touring a part of immense Pompeia. He was explaining curiosities from the time in Pompeia and its buildings. It happened very quickly, I would have been much longer. Thank you Paul for your knowledge, explanations and kindness.

We visited Pompeii and climbed Mount Vesuvius with the agency. Both tours were excellently guided; both guides provided very interesting information, historical context, and stories, and were open to all our curious questions! The walking pace was adapted for all ages, and overall, the organization was top-notch, with no unnecessary rushing! Special praise goes to our guide Mario, who shared a wealth of authentic information with us from a “local’s” perspective, making the climb/descent feel much shorter 🙂 Highly recommended!
