Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius are the undisputed protagonists of the 79 AD eruption.
Get to know more about it with this incredible full day experience.
You will visit Pompeii in a small group tour led by an Archaeologist guide who will show you the best highlights of the site like the Forum – the main square of the city –, the main houses and buildings.
Then meet the hiking guide in the afternoon and leave with our minibus for up to 14 people with direction to Mount Vesuvius.
As arrive at Vesuvius entrance first 30 minutes up to the crater there's a steep walking to reach the top.

Wonderful details and information as you walk around Pompei then walk to the rim of the volcano that caused the city to disappear.

Really good package. We climbed Vesuvius in the morning and completed the tour in the afternoon. Both sessions were very informative and led well by the guides who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

We did Pompeii ruins and then did the hike around 145-2:00pm. Expect a long day. Hike was amazing, we had a great guide. Mario was very knowledgeable on mount versuvius. We met archeologist who explained to us about the eruption. Hike is about 3 hours, wear comfortable shoes or hiking shoes. One of the greatest experience for my husband and I!

The guide for Pompei was absolutely perfect - knowledgeable, interesting, passionate, friendly and with a fabulous sense of humour. Almost certainly the best guide I have experienced with any company for many years. The second half of the day sadly didn’t quite work as well. The guide was well meaning, but lacking in warmth, difficult to hear/understand (especially in the bus to Vesuvius where no-one could hear her at all!), and she wasted a huge amount of time waiting for some of the party who were late. Kind thing for her to do, but wasting 30 minutes of time of the people who arrived on time is not acceptable.
