IMPORTANT INFORMATION REQUIRED FROM ALL PASSENGERS: You MUST provide all passenger names at the time of booking in order to visit Mount Vesuvius or you may be refused entry.

During summer months in rare cases of inclement weather or strikes, the crater of Vesuvius may be closed to visitors, therefore, if this is the case, it is replaced with a visit to Positano where you will get free time to explore the city.

The hike up to the crater of Vesuvius requires a good level of general fitness. The walk is uphill at a 14 degree angle and takes roughly 20 minutes.

Only 90mins at Pompeii, we were rushed around and only saw a fraction of what was at the site. We needed more time there as it was the whole point of the trip

Didn’t get to go. They said it’s not the season to climb Vesuvius even though they charged me extra to select it as an option. They didn’t put us on the bus. We arrived 1 hr prior to departure. They kept moving us from group to group way past the expected time to leave them ultimately told me that the cone hike was not an option. They refuse to refund us even though the tour guide told me to cancel while I was there for a refund. Now I am stuck fighting for my $400+ back

Amazing experience, Pompei was a great experience and the view from Mount Vesuvious was breathtaking. Our tour guide Laura was super friendly and answered all questions with a good sense of humor. Our bus drive Tiziano very good and took care on the roads.
