Our guide was a nice guy who clearly knew a lot about Pompeii but his English language skills were unsatisfactory. He did not know words to communicate the stories to us. The whole group was struggling to understand him.

Pompeii is huge and it helps to have a guide to get some introduction and context into the place. I also suggest adding a visit to the National Museum in Naples for many Pompeii artifacts. Our guide was excellent and had good understanding of the place and a nice sense of humor. Lovely day!
