Archaeological Park of Pompeii
Departing from central Rome to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii, a once-bustling port city buried for hundreds of years under a blanket of volcanic ash. An expert local guide will lead you through this fascinating archaeological site. With homes and places of work all frozen in time, just as they were when Mt. Vesuvius erupted and annihilated the city, it’s an incredible window into ordinary Italian life centuries ago. Please note that Pompeii is not visited if you select the Positano & Sorrento Option !

5.00The experience was absolutely incredible. Natascia was an amazing guide the entire 13 hours we had her and never failed to make us laugh. She was extremely informative and clearly had an intense passion for the history of Pompei and Italy as a whole.

5.00Fantastic day trip. Covered everything we wanted to see. Pompeii was amazing and the guide there Don Carla was very knowledgable and kept the tour flowing. A little more time in Sorrento would improve the experience as this part of the trip was a little rushed. John was a great guide, very knowledgable and fun and really efficient, keeping everything running smoothly and everyone in check.

5.00We had a fab day out exploring Pompeii and Sorrento! Our host was called John and he was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the history of Italy as a whole. We had a great guided tour around the most fascinating parts of Pompeii, in which we learnt what all the buildings were. We were given free time in Sorrento with the option of enjoying the beach or exploring different cafes and gift shops.
