4.00We really enjoyed Pompeii. The guide, Claudia, did a fantastic job. We did not want to eat as early as we did and as fast. The visit to the lemoncelo factory and Sorento were a waste of our time. There is nothing to see in Sorento. I would have preferred to do a half day visit to Pompeii and use the afternoon in Rome. I have to say that the tour guide, Luisa, and Antonio, the driver took good care of us and were very pleasant.

5.00It was just amazing. I do have to say that when they offer to pre order the pizza and/or pasta, the pizza you can share it with someone else but the pasta is just for one person. Our guide was just amazing, no complaints.

5.00Even though it was a rainy day, we still enjoyed every moment. I’d have loved to spend a few days at Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, but since time was limited, the bus tour was the only way to squeeze it all in before we went home. Alessandro did a great job sharing information and keeping the tour moving along.

One thing I didn't understand/wasn't clear from the booking is that this is a 13-14 hour tour, (best case scenario with traffic) so it was very long but still definitely worth it. Pompeii is incredible. Sorento is picturesque, straight from a movie. I also enjoyed the much slower pace of Sorento. It was a nice changeup from the hustle and bustle of Rome. If you're on the fence, do it. Just be prepared for a long trip.

5.00Rob was our tour guide and he had such a great personality and was so informative. Not just with Pompeii and Sorrento but also gave us tips on what to eat back in Rome. He made our day so worth the trip! Pompeii was amazing and we were fortunate to visit Sorrento in the off season. Long day but it was broken up by rest breaks. I would highly recommend it. Enjoyed by myself, my husband, and our 17 year old son.
