5.00We had been for a tour in the rain earlier in the holiday so took the opportunity to go back to pompeii when it was sunny. The guide was great. Aksos tours were very well organised and friendly. Great communication. Not too big a group. Much better than the tour earlier in the week.

5.00Gennaro, our guide made our visit to Pompeii very worthwhile as we learnt so much about the history of Pompeii and its residents. His style was easy but his extensive knowledge and passion shone through. Although it was a wet day we thoroughly enjoyed our time and stayed on after the guided tour ended.

4.00Mario was very knowledgeable and personable but I feel like we spent most of the first hour standing against the wall listening to him talk. It became a little boring. Once we started to see places, he was very thorough explaining everything and the tour became very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Mario as a guide.
