  Sergio was our guide and he brought Pompeii to life. He was excellent with in depth knowledge of the site and life in Pompeii before it was buried in ash. He also talked us through the different stages of discovery. It was well worth the fee and highly recommended.

  Our guide Suzie is a passionate person who, thanks to her clear explanations, taught us a lot about the way of life of the inhabitants of Pompeii. We were able to visualize what they fed on, where the food came from and how it was stored. She explained the painting techniques and the origin of the colors (egg yolk, rust,...). She described to us the fineness of the jewelry found. Each place visited told its story through Suzie's words.

  Would recommend the tour to everyone! Alessandra (archeologist) gave a great tour bringing us back to the day of the eruption and explaining to us the lifestyle of that time as we walked through the ruins.

  Paolo was very experienced in showing us around vast Pompeii. He guided us through various parts of the preserved city highlighting how the community once lived. 2 hours was definitely not enough time to take in this experience. The tour is slightly up hill and on rocky terrain so prepare appropriately.

  Pompeii is pure fable and poetry. But the magic 'was possible thanks to our guide Anna Sorrento, professional archaeologist, highly trained, engaging, friendly enthusiastic, beautiful and brilliant. My husband and I did the tour on January 28th under a relentless rain and despite this Anna with her charisma and her smile made us immerse ourselves in the original Pompeii making us forget that it was raining. Great judgment then and congratulations to the Tour Operator for having such a good Archaeologist in his Staff. Thank you Anna from the heart. Elena and Marco

  We did a guided tour in Portuguese in Pompeii with the guide Rafaella, Italian who speaks Portuguese very well and has a lot of knowledge of the site, in addition to being a very nice person.

  We book the tour “Entrance to Pompeii with optional guided tour” The title deals with the word “optional” when it really includes: Pompeii Express entrance and guided tour. The people of the company were waiting for us at the entrance Porta Marina Superiore, which is next to the bus and train stops. When the guide arrived, we were given the audio devices to place in the ear and a plan of the archaeological area. The guide, Carmine, explained to us at each stop of the tour, the context and how things were, in great detail what helped to put you in position and appreciate the detail of each area. He also told us about the best areas to take photos. The group was not very large, making it easier to move forward without delay. The fact that you had an earpiece to hear the explanations allowed you to walk and take pictures while you were listening to the explanations. The tour lasts 2 hours and does not get heavy. We were with two teenagers who enjoyed it. At the end of the tour we had time to have a drink at the bar and visit more houses recommended by the guide on our own.

  We visited the ruins of Pompeii with the guide Camillo. Siami were very satisfied, and 'a guide, with the plus of being an archaeologist, prepared and engaging, even my two daughters listened with interest to his explanations. We recommend it.
