This is a great experience, Pompei is amazing and so much to see. Our trip included a stop in Sorrento for lunch and a city walk. Sorrento is beautiful great little town. The lunch was just ok. Pompei tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered any question we had. The only negative about the experience is the Pompei tour is a bit rushed 1.5 hrs its go go go. John Paul was a great tour guide for this experience he is very knowledgeable and fun.

Our tour guides John Paul and Serena were very knowledgeable and friendly. Not too many people there, but still able to see a little bit of everything. Set at a good pace for the most part, time to take photos and look closely at all the relics on show.

I feel I need to write this review after our tour to Pompeii and the Sorrento coast day trip. First I have to give a big mention to our first guide "Johnny" within a very short time of meeting Johnny gave you the feeling that you were in very good hands very warm in personality and has a supreme knowledge of the place's of interest during our travelling time to Pompeii everything was done at a very comfortable pace no rush to anything nothing is a problem for Johnny as he is very very professional and is an extreme asset to Walks of Italy. On our arrival at Pompeii Johnny handed us over to Brunella who is the most wonderful person and guide and she made the tour so so interesting her attention to detail during the tour was extraordinary so you will not miss anything during the tour time Brunella made it so interesting it was like she was telling you a story which shows how much work and dedication she applies to her job again another big advantage by choosing Walks of Italy to go on these tours with. On the completion of the tour we were then back in the hands of Johnny who then provided a fantastic running commentary down to Sorrento on arrival there he then provided a run down on the various restaurants and what they had to offer with recommendations. You also get time to explore the local area which was very nice. On our return journey back to Rome we were then asked if we enjoyed it.......this is a 5 ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ tour which you are totally looked after by the company and their representatives.

Very interesting and fulfilling experience to get a deeper knowledge into "real" ancient Roman city life with the lovely experience of walking through Pompei with the archeologist Brunella and her nice and knowledgeful attitude. The tour is very well organised and structured by Walks of Italy and by the caring and entertaining way of John the tour leader. He brought us to the amazing Mediterranean atmosphere of Sorrento and its beautiful coast with some interesting informations about its story and traditions which provided a nice taste of the South of Italy to the Roman adventure.Safe driving in the van.I highly recommend Walks.

Fabulous day! Great communication throughout the booking, easy to find meeting spot, clean, comfortable and safe transportation. Our guide Cosimo was a terrific host and quickly got us up to speed on local culture and the days events. He was professional, informative and provided great recommendations and direction to maximize our time in Sorrento. Pompeii was epic and our guide Vitale matched the experience. This tour was worth every minute!

First off we have never taken a guided tour when traveling I can honestly say it changed our experience! Our guide Cosimo was wonderful- attentive, kind, a wealth of information about the history and culture of Pompei. Our other trip guide the cosimo handed us off to was An exact carbon copy of kindness, intelligence, compassionate and truly captured the experience and humanity and emotion and awe of the historic towns of Pompeii and the Alfami coast. It was a truly special day for my husband and I. I watched people walk through the pompeii city ruins and felt they missed out on so much of the whole experience, and history. We hit the lottery with Cosimo and our other guide Vitali! They were responsible a fabulous memorable day! We are looking forward to our Collisium and Vatican tour trip. You will not be disappointed! They knew the ins and outs of of providing a high quality experience! Book your tours with Walks ! I will forever recommend these tours to friends, families and colleagues.

Cosaimo and his team were the best. What a marvelous relax day after miles and miles walked in Rome. The Pompei experience was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. That guide was also amazing, 4th generation of working as a tour guide. Follow everything he suggests while in Serrano! Best pizza I have ever had! Highly recommend during March.

This was honestly a booking. We had a great time, and a great day! The Pompeii guided tour was excellent and incredibly insightful. Our time in Sorrento was beautiful and came with several great recommendations by our guide, Cossimo, who was a great guide. We walked A LOT but honestly it didn’t feel that way as the day was perfectly split between activities. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect tour to see the Amalfi coast & Pompeii… just the right blend of history, sightseeing, & both Bravoa nice lunch in a scenic spot & some shopping in Sorrento. If you are wanting to see Pompeii & the Amalfi coast as a tour from Rome, this is ideal! Our guide Aurelio was friendly, helpful & patient, while being informative & knowledgeable. It’s a full day (12 hrs) but the best way to see all this as a day trip visit while staying in Rome. Bravo, amici!
