Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
Luggage and/or strollers are not allowed on this tour as there is no extra storage space on the vehicle.

Please note that the group size of 18 guests refers to the guided tour in Pompeii, and transportation can be shared by 2 groups (36 guests total).

What To Expect
Rome
Your adventure begins in central Rome, where you'll meet your tour leader and board a private, air-conditioned bus. As you settle in for the scenic drive, sit back and relax—your guide and driver will handle all the details as you journey toward the ruins of Pompeii.
Archaeological Park of Pompeii
Arriving at Pompeii, you'll meet your expert archaeologist guide for an in-depth tour of the ancient ruins. You and your small group of 18 people maximum will explore this once-thriving Roman city, perfectly preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. You’ll walk the same streets that Romans once did in silence before the daytime crowds arrive, peeking into shops, temples, and even a brothel—each frozen in time. You'll also see the House of the Vetti, an incredibly preserved house recently reopened after years of restoration.

5.00I think this was our favorite tour from our 2 week trip to Italy! Pompeii was incredible! I never imagined how well preserved the town was. Just amazing to have an opportunity to actually walk through an ancient Roman town. On top of that, Positano was breathtaking. Our guide, John Paul, was amazing and clearly passionate about his work. He gave an awesome recommendation for lunch in Positano which really was the icing on top of the cake! This day trip was absolutely worth the drive and would highly recommend for anyone visiting Rome!

5.00Our tour guide Alex and driver Marco were both excellent. Alex’s general knowledge about the area from Rome to Pompei and Marco’s driving skills are to be commended. Our tour guide at Pompei was Vincenzo and he too was excellent and his knowledge of the ruins brought things to life. A very long day but well worth the time invested.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Gianmaria visiting the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii from Rome. He was a wealth of knowledge. Great vehicle (small Mercedes coach) made a long day comfortable with our great bus driver. And a special call out to the Pompeii tour guide. Her historical knowledge was as amazing as Pompeii was. ps. Try not go to Amalfi on a weekend as it was crazily busy with everyone there at same time.

5.00What a great way to sample the Amalfi Coast and visit Pompeii in a day! My family didn’t have time to spend the night on the Amalfi Coast, so we were delighted this option existed! It was exactly what we needed. Our guide for the day, Gianmaria, and our Pompeii guide, Brunella, were excellent. True professionals and they clearly cared to make sure we had a fantastic day. Our driver was excellent at navigating the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast and made us feel safe (no small feat)! Highly recommend!!

5.00This tour was amazing, so much fun, great sights, very informational. Francesca, our guide for Pompeii, was incredibly knowledgeable, we learned so much history and interesting facts from her! The Pompeii trip was best done in a small group which we had. Positano and Amalfi coast was the most beautiful sights. Our tour guide Paris deserves 10/10. She is smart, kind, and has great attention to detail. We enjoyed our time with her! I wish the positano portion of the tour was maybe an hour longer. Otherwise, great time!
