In Pompeii, a 2r guided tour led by an expert archaeologist reveals the haunting beauty of a city frozen in time by the eruption of 79 AD. Following your exploration, indulge in a traditional Italian lunch.
Your adventure continues to Mount Vesuvius, with a choice between two unique trails:
1. The Crater Trail leads you on a scenic ascent to the summit, where sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and a striking glimpse into the volcanic crater await.
2. The Valley of Hell offers a more adventurous path, winding through solidified lava flows from the 1944 eruption and revealing extraordinary rock formations and a hidden lava cave.
Both trails are led by experienced guides who provide insights into the geological and historical significance of the area.

When the booking arrives 8 hours before the start time, the ONLY pick-up point is Starhotels Terminus in Piazza Garibaldi.

5.00Thank you for your tour with us, Carmine tour leader and Danilo driver. Enjoyed the Pompeii very informative and spectacular history. Wine tour was great with some magnificent wines. Vesuvius had beautiful views was a pleasure to visit and experience it all.

5.00Carmine welcomed us warmly and everything was perfectly organized. The tour in Pompeii was interesting and the lunch afterwards was very good. The guide who led us through the caldera on Vesuvius was very motivated and explained a lot. Thanks also to the bus driver Gennaro who drove us safely and quite quickly. This day trip is worth every penny.

5.00We did this tour yesterday and we had a great time. Pompeii was very impressive and the hike to the Vesuvius Crater was beautiful (and easy). Our guide Marco provided us with fun and interesting facts and driver Freddy got us to the destinations safely! Salvatore was our archaeological guide in Pompeii, he was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Would recommend!

5.00The tour was a fantastic experience! Our tour guide Connie was very helpful, funny and made the tour very entertaining. Our driver Francesco, was an excellent driver, he effortlessly handled the tricky, narrow roads on the way to the volcano. The tour in Pompeii was amazing, our tour guide Tommaso made a great job explaining how people lived in Pompeii. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything in details, answered all our questions and made sure everyone was safe walking around the ruins. After the Pompeii tour we had a delicious three-course lunch on the way to Vesuvius. At last we arrived to the parking lot under the Vesuvius. We had around 2 hours to get to the top of the volcano and walk around the crater. Connie, Francesco & Tommasso thank you for the outstanding tour in Pompeii and Vesuvius!
