In Pompeii, a 2r guided tour led by an expert archaeologist reveals the haunting beauty of a city frozen in time by the eruption of 79 AD. Following your exploration, indulge in a traditional Italian lunch.
Your adventure continues to Mount Vesuvius, with a choice between two unique trails:
1. The Crater Trail leads you on a scenic ascent to the summit, where sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and a striking glimpse into the volcanic crater await.
2. The Valley of Hell offers a more adventurous path, winding through solidified lava flows from the 1944 eruption and revealing extraordinary rock formations and a hidden lava cave.
Both trails are led by experienced guides who provide insights into the geological and historical significance of the area.

When the booking arrives 8 hours before the start time, the ONLY pick-up point is Starhotels Terminus in Piazza Garibaldi.

3.00Where do I even start? Imma was nice, but I wouldn’t really consider her a tour guide since she was only with us during the van ride. She shared some history and information on the way to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, but she did not guide us through either location. The driver, Giovani, definitely needs more practice driving a standard van. He stalled the van multiple times, and there were also two moments where it felt like we almost got into an accident, which was pretty concerning. At Pompeii, we were handed off to another guide (I’m assuming one that works directly there). Nowhere in the booking information and yes, I double checked did it mention that we would have to wear these large earpieces for the tour. I wish I could submit a picture because they were honestly ridiculous. They only fit on the right ear, and since I have small ears, mine constantly slipped and didn’t stay in place. I ended up missing most of the tour because I couldn’t realistically hold it to my ear for two hours straight. An older woman in our group even had to remove her hearing aid and still struggled to hear. Other tours we saw used actual earbuds, which would have made much more sense. That being said, the Pompeii guide himself was excellent and very knowledgeable. Lunch at Kona’s was just okay. Nothing memorable, and the portions were small, so don’t expect to leave full. Mount Vesuvius was the highlight of the trip. No complaints there at all, the views and overall experience were amazing. Overall, I would absolutely visit Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius again, but I would choose a different tour company next time.

5.00Good communication, a long day but well worth the money. Lunch was fabulous and guide was great. Would definitely recommend this trip if you have limited time in Naples and want to fit in both Pompeii and Vesuvius

1.00The picture attached to this ad does not reflect the actual tour that was very rough with no wooden structure to hold on to as shown The trail we were taken on and was so rough and steep we had to sit it out in the coach Complained to the guide that it was not as advertised but to no avail Avoid !!!!!!!!!

5.00Best experience of my life!! Pompeii was really fun to learn about. The food at lunch was so good as well! Would really recommend this tour :) Mt vesivius was so fun as well (especially if you like aperol) And the views were amazing. Enzo and Ilaria were great

5.00Spectacular day - Antonio could not have provided a better experience for us. He was timely and exactly where he said he would be and when. Our guide Anna in the ruins of Pompeii was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Then Antonio escorted us to a beautiful “light” lunch to a gorgeous winery him the hills (food, wine, desert was over the top). Then Antonio guided us to Mount Vesuvius sharing is knowledge along the way (we actually hiked to the top - we had ample time!). This day was completely worth the price and I can’t wait to bring my sons to enjoy it with me next year! We will be requesting Antonio and Anna for certain!!
