The driver was very professional. You hear a lot of people comment on the narrow curvy road. Perfectly fine. What is very disappointing is the massive number of cars and tourists. The trip is nothing more than a 8 hour traffic jam. Not what I would call an enjoyable experience. It's not the drivers fault. He was great!

We were on a cruise this tour said it was 8 hrs and it was not timely. We got on at 8 am and was supposed to be done at 4 pm we got back to the ship at 6:10 pm with the gang way up at 6:30. So add about 7 minutes from drop off to getting on the ship so it was stressful. Francesco was our guide and Rafael was our driver (who was excellent) and the driver was racing us back to the ship. Problem began in Amalfi where we were supposed to be dropped 2 hrs and 20 mins but the guide and driver got back 45 minutes late due to traffic. A portion of the guests wanted to cut the tour short and miss Ravello as we were worried about missing the ship. But he very cavalier said trust me, but we didn’t trust him at this point. I found his attitude quite disturbing as we didn’t have our passports, if we missed the ship we were in trouble. Ruined the whole excursion for us. I have had multiple Viator excursions and never experienced an over 2 hr time delay as stated.

Our driver and guide were great and we really enjoyed our tour, until the very end when our guide insisted our ship was not leaving until 6 (it actually pulled away from the dock promptly at 5) and it would be ok to arrive a little after our last boarding call of 4:30. We did NOT miss our ship but ended up being the last passengers to board which was far more stressful than we would have preferred. Again, the tour itself was fantastic and we just would have preferred a bit more truthfulness and empathy at the very end.

The scenery was beautiful but there is not enough time to do everything listed. We just about missed our ship due to this tour. We informed our guide we needed to be back because our ship was leaving at 430pm. He told us 6pm. He wouldn't listen to us. Listen to your customers better.
