This tour was combined with another tour, and that caused ALOT of problems. There was barely enough time to do the cave tour and go to the bathroom. I didn't have enough time to listen to the audio tour at the Castle, and neither did other people, and no time to go to the bathroom. Then, once we got to Piran, still no bathroom break until after a 10 minute walk. The tour guide was having to guess times and drive back and forth between the 2 tours. People had to be dropped off and picked up in different locations. We had no idea this was going to happen until after we had boarded the bus that morning. Because the tour guide was on such a time crunch, he was a bit snippy often. The sites I saw were nice, but the organization by the tour company was really bad.

The whole experience was great. Piran is such a beautiful place. The tour guide was very interactive and knowledgeable. He really likes his job and that’s great for us tourists. For the caves, I would recommend packing sweatpants and some kind of sweater because it is chilly down there. We got some free time in Piran, so if you like to swim, you could bring your bathing suit. There’s a small beach over there to take a dip. The inside of the castle was super interesting. Very satisfied with the scheduling of tour because we were never in a big crowd during our activities.

We just had an amazing tour to Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle, and Piran with our guide, Kolja, from To Do In Slovenia. It was truly a memorable experience exploring this beautiful region of Slovenia, from its spectacular caves and historic castle to the charm of the Slovenian coast. What made the trip even more special was Kolja himself. He was sharing fascinating insights into Slovenia’s history, geography, anthropology, sociology, and culture throughout the journey. His additional tips, recommendations, and advice were greatly appreciated and added tremendous value to our visit. Kolja is knowledgeable, engaging, fun, and an excellent guide and driver. We only wish we had more time to explore other parts of Slovenia with both him and To Do In Slovenia. Thank you for a wonderful experience that made our visit even more meaningful and enjoyable.

This was a really interesting trip. The caves were magnificent. The castle was so different to anything I had seen before. Piran was a contrast to other parts of Slovenia. The guide was keen to share lots of information about Slovenian history which was appreciated. I did not award a 5 as the tour was rushed in parts. Particularly at the castle. Using the audio guide I could not have completed the tour any quicker yet we were a few minutes late for the bus. Given that we returned an hour earlier at the end of the day I feel that more flexibility to allow sufficient time for all parts of the tour could have been accommodated. Otherwise a great day.

What a lovely and sunny day, and a huge thank you to our guide Kolja and the driver, who both took care about us being safe and happy! 😊 We have visited all three locations as planned and we did not feel rushed, the scheduling felt just right. The caves are magnificent indeed, just make sure that you have a warm clothing with you, as you will spend 90 minutes at 10 degrees on your guided tour in the cave. The castle is small, but fairly authentic and the ticket comes with a multilingual audio guide. Finally, Piran is such a lovely little village that we wished we could stay there longer just to have some time at the beach. After a brief tour we were off for the lunch at the local restaurant (Evo, I think) and the food was absolutely great and very reasonably priced. During the day Kolja was keeping an eye on every one of us and made sure we stayed hydrated, as it was a very hot day. Absolutely recommend this tour if you wish to explore different parts of Slovenia in a small group in one day.

Very nice tour. Kolja was a great tour guide. The only thing I would have liked more was to have more time in Piran. We had less than two hours there.

Excellent option for a full day. Bastian was an excellent guide due to his kindness, friendliness, and knowledge of the places we visited as well as the history and geography of the country. It was worth every euro we paid; we highly recommend it.

Such a perfect day trip. Saw the caves, castle and Piran, all were very enjoyable. I felt we had enough time in each place and it wasn't rushed. You get a few hours of free time to yourself in Piran for lunch and exploring which I thoroughly enjoyed. It is a small town but there is lots to see and do. Would highly recommend! Our tour guide was also super friendly and helpful.

The sights and activities were exceptional and would highly recommend. We've been tomany caves and this was the best ever. Our guide worked SO hard all day to make sure everyone was where they needed to be (not everyone went to exactly the same places), were taken care of and were enjoying themselves. We felt like we had a personal and private tour with all the history he provided (we love history and country knowledge) and escorting us around. We had an amazing day! It was a very long tour from a time standpoint but our guide's energy and enthusiasm made it a memorable day!
