There are more than one thousand paintings inside (no, we didn't make a mistake, that's the truth), so we can't explore it all, nevertheless, we provide the base for you to go on your own after the visit. That's why we like to describe this as a didactic tour.
However, if you're an Art Pro, we've got good news: since we're going to be only 7 people, you can choose what to see and make requests, and that's why we like to describe this as a flexible tour.

What To Expect
Museo Nacional del Prado
Prado Museum probably is the greatest treasure in our country and one of the most important art galleries in the world. After turning two hundred years, our favorite museum still is a wonderful example of artistic excellence. Our 90 minutes visit walks through the highlights of the collection, passing by Bosch, Titian, Greco, Velázquez or Goya.

5.00Stefi was fantastic! This English guided tour was such a great way to experience the Prado highlights on a busy day at the museum. With an earpiece and adjustable volume, Stefi was easy to hear. And, what a delight she was! So passionate and knowledgeable about the art and Spanish history. We are thrilled that we did this tour!

5.00I love going to art museums, but I usually glaze over after a couple of rooms. I never see a whole museum in one trip. I have found that I get so much more out of a live guided tour than from any other way to see an art museum. There is so much you can’t get just from viewing the paintings, reading the descriptions or listening to an audio guide. Background on the artists and their movements and interactions and influences on each other really makes the art come alive. Macarena was a great guide and she gave us a large amount of very interesting and relevant information. Definitely recommended

5.00I wish it was possible to pick your tour guides… Because I would tell everybody - get Macarena!!! She exceeded all my expectations I ever had about the art museum tour by far!!! Her way of providing the narrative to each painting she chose to highlight in her tour was so entertaining, every historic fact so interesting, it was simply a pleasure to listen! Her headphone system worked perfectly and her English is sublime. The only problem I had is that the tour was too short…I could listen to her for 3 hours straight easily. Would gave her 6 stars if I could. Prado itself is amazing. 100% worth visiting. And less crowded than I thought it would be.

5.00Stephania is a compassionate art lover who did an amazing job explaining all the masters. Not only did she tell the story of the artwork, she went into the history of Spain. My only negative is I wish we had at least 8 hrs to do the entire Prado.

5.00Very informative. Our guide’s passion for the art was evident and infectious. A very efficient way to see and learn about the top pieces and tackle this large museum! This is the only Madrid museum for which we sprung for a guide, and it was absolutely worth it.
