The tour has two options, so it is fit to several types of visitors. Our professional tour guide can explain what the guest are about to see, the history, culture and religious of Cambodian in the past and today. We start our tour by going to Preah Vihear temple, situated on a 525-metre cliff of Dangrek Mountain. After lunch, we visit Koh Ker temple group, especially climb up the 36-metre high of a seven‑tiered pyramid temple, Prasat Thom or Prasat Prang. After Koh Ker, we come back to Siem Reap to visit Beng Mealea which is considered as the sister of Angkor Wat. Most part of the temple is not yet restored. There are stone blocks lying on the ground which make it a mysterious and quite temple of Angkor.

Preah Vihear Temple
Discover and explore the contentious Preah Vihear Temple complex. Preah Vihear is an ancient Hindu temple built during the period of the Khmer Empire, that is situated atop a 525-metre cliff in the Dângrêk Mountains. Preah Vihear is at the border with Thailand and has been the subject of more than one ownership dispute.
Koh Ker Temple
Then after a brief stop at one of the restaurants for a traditional Cambodian curry, soups or stir-fries, continue to distant Koh Ker. Koh Ker is the modern name for an important city of the Khmer empire. In inscriptions the town is mentioned as Lingapura (city of lingams). The most impressive structure in the complex is Prasat Thom/Prang, a double sanctuary which follows a linear plan and not a concentric one like most of the temples of the Khmer kings. Unparalleled is the 36-metre high seven‑tiered pyramid, which most probably served as state temple.

I joined the Preah Vihear, Koh Ker & Beng Mealea tour with Asia Voyage Travel last June, and it was truly unforgettable. The journey was well organized, and the guide explained the history and culture in a very engaging way. Preah Vihear’s stunning hilltop temple view was breathtaking, Koh Ker impressed with its unique pyramid-style temple, and Beng Mealea felt like a hidden jungle treasure. The transport was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone who loves history, culture, and adventure.

The Preah Vihear, Koh Ker & Beng Mealea Tour with Asia Voyage Travel was an exceptional experience that revealed Cambodia’s lesser-known wonders. From the moment we started, everything was perfectly organized, and our guide’s knowledge and stories brought each site to life. Preah Vihear offered breathtaking mountaintop views, Koh Ker impressed with its rare pyramid temple, and Beng Mealea felt like an enchanting lost world. Traveling at a relaxed pace allowed us to fully enjoy every moment without feeling rushed. For anyone eager to explore Cambodia beyond the usual tourist spots, this tour is truly a must-do. I highly recommend it for history lovers, adventure seekers, and anyone looking to experience the beauty and mystery of these remarkable temples.
