Boarding takes place via a spacious shuttle boat (for up to 15 people) that transports guests to the catamaran. This shuttle, like all our vessels, undergoes inspection every six months to ensure safety and quality. From the beach hut (where check-in takes place), it’s a short 30-meter/ 98 foot ride to the catamaran. This area of the sea is as calm as a lake, with little to no waves throughout the year

The Antilla sank more than 60 years ago and remains completely intact. Legend says the ship is a 1939 German freighter likely carried supplies during WW2 and was caught in the Dutch waters following Germany’s invasion of Holland. Explore the 400 foot Antilla easily and safe with guidance of our experienced crew.
Malmok Reef

We loved this trip - the ship was clean, and there was a bathroom on board. The captains were very nice. We went when it was a bit windy and wavy due to hurricane season (no fault of the company, obviously), but we still were able to see a decent amount and enjoy the journey! There weren't too many people on board either, which was nice. The length of the trip was not too long and not too short - it was the perfect day on a boat.

I was in a group of 7 on this excursion. Everything was very enjoyable and we all had a great time. The weather was perfect, the food and drink were excellent and the crew was fantastic. I will recommend this excursion and the company going forward.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. We did the 9am tour and there were about 20 other people with us. The boat could have held more so we had a ton of extra space. As soon as you got on the boat, you are offered an alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage. From there you are given a description of what the tour entails. We were immediately brought muffins to pick from and were offered drinks and other foods throughout the entire tour. We ate breakfast before we went but it is not necessary at all. Our first stop for snorkeling was amazing. Very calm water. We saw a sea turtle, eels and a huge variety of beautiful fish and coral. Our next stop was a shipwreck site. We were told the water would be rougher and it definitely was. Still possible to snorkel, but being pregnant, it was a bit too much for me. So i went in to see and it was INCREDIBLE, but i came back out fairly quickly. The hosts on the boat were friendly, funny, entertaining, informative and gave us an incredible experience. If we ever make it back to Aruba - we would 100% book this tour again.

There are many companies available to book for catamaran snorkelling trips, however, after much research, we are so glad we chose this one. There were only 14 people on board which made for a comfortable morning sail. The crew was friendly and laid back though safety oriented and provided amazing service. We enjoyed many snacks that hit the spot before and after snorkelling as well as several rounds of mimosas, Aruba Aribas and rum punches from the open bar. We have been on many snorkelling excursions during our travels and know that sometimes you get to see a lot and have great visibility and sometimes you do not. You also cannot control the weather. The visibility on this trip was fair to good, though still able to see two sunken ship wrecks teeming with marine life, which was a first for us. We really enjoyed ourselves on this catamaran and had a great morning. I would say that this excursion is not for those with mobility issues. You tender out to the catamaran on a smaller boat and climb a ladder from boat to boat. You also need to climb down the ladder in fins when snorkelling and kind of jump into the water. Getting out requires you to hang onto the ladder, take your fins off and climb up. It was fine for us, but if I was taking my more senior parents I would choose a catamaran that has the wide steps off the back where you just walk down them into the water to snorkel.

The shipwreck and Boca Catalina sites are not the best for snorkeling in my opinion. Shipwreck: Unless you are a good free diver you can’t see a lot swimming on the surface. Not much fish and the ship’s carcass is pretty deep. Must be a good spot for scuba diving though. Boca Catalina: their boat docked at least 50 m from where most of the fish is and I had to find it myself - not one crew member told where the spot was. This spot didn’t have a reef - just rocks. The crew were friendly and welcoming. Served a bunch of finger food snacks - by no means proving you with any meaningful fuel. The mimosas didn’t seem to have any alcohol. And don’t be deceived by me their “open bar” promotion - it’s for purchase. All in all, we probably got what we paid for.

Very sad. We arrived at 8.55am. We had taken the 9am brunch plan for 5 people because we were going to celebrate a birthday on the catamaran. I did not have the specifications of how to arrive and park the vehicle therefore we were delayed and it is understandable that we are tourists. When we arrived we saw the catamaran that had just left and the girl who received us did not take the time to call or consult. He simply said that we should have arrived at 8.30am and that there was nothing to do that is political and he closed on it. We weren't offered an alternate plan because it was full and if we should have paid 50%. I think that they wanted to have helped us had been able to do it since they were leaving at 9 and we arrived minutes early and did not want to help us, because perhaps with the small boat of them they had been able to approach us to the catamaran because they were very close, if they had done it they had not lost more than 10 minutes. Anyway, a shame because we had a bad Aruban experience because of this and a very bad perception of the customer Service of the octopus girl and more with tourists. It was also frustrating for us to lose our additional birthday celebration of losing 400 usd because we were not returned anything.
