What a special and informative visit to the tunnels we had. We were picked up from our hotel at 0700 (yes, early start but worth it to avoid the later crowds£ and were taken to a boat on the river which roared along! On arrival we were taken to the tunnels which are fascinating. My wife was brave and small enough to climb into a camouflaged hole. As for me, even with these holes increased in size by 20% for the tourists, I couldn’t get my hips in! We were offered to go along a stretch of tunnel (I again was too large!) and (at a cost) fire live ammunition. At the end of the tour we were treated to a delicious lunch (vegan snd seafood allergies were not a problem with due warning). We then returned to Saigon arriving from memory at 1330. Are tour guide, Anna, we exceptional. She was polite, friendly and very informative (and spoke good English). It’s a must for any visit to Saigon.

We went via speedboat to the Cu Chi tunnels, being looked after by our guide Anna and the fantastic team, who were attentive and friendly. We were provided with a tasty breakfast and lunch in restaurant at the tunnels, as well as fruit on the return journey. The tour was amazing, Anna is warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. The site itself is interesting but Anna added so much more with her ability to relay the information she made the tour interesting, immersive and enjoyable, despite its tragic roots. Through Anna we were given a fantastic insight into the experiences, and ingenuity, of the local people during the war. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide Anna was very good. Very knowledgeable in the history of the Vietnam war. It was a real eye opener and very sad to hear how the young soldiers suffered under horrific conditions. Would recommend Anna as your guide if visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels Thanks again Anna

We did this tour with Ka (car). He was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and full of stories and history. We all learned so much and would highly recommend it. Also one member of our group has a nut allergy and he was able to handle this and ensure she had food that was nut free and safe to eat. We also had a birthday and he arranged a cake. Aboce and beyond in every aspect. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience, our guide Như explained the history of the place with great knowledge and a good dose of humor. We enjoyed the tunnels, and the shooting, as well as the lunch and the boat cruise. I definitely recommend this tour for everyone who is interested in the history of Vietnam, or just want to try something new like shooting with real guns.

Awesome tour lead by Anna, was lovely to fly down the Saigon River by speedboat with refreshments provided. Getting there early was a huge bonus, so the 7am pick up is THE BEST! Her knowledge of the Cu Chi Tunnels is great, finishing with a delicious Vietnamese lunch before returning by boat. Unbelievable the conditions the locals fought in to defend their country and freedom.

We had a great trip to The Cu Chi tunnels with Les Rives. They were very punctual collecting us from our hotel. The trip up the river on the boat was smooth and plenty of refreshments/food was offered. We arrived at the tunnels before any of the tour buses so had the place pretty much to ourselves. We appreciated the small group number on the tour. Anna, our guide, was excellent. She has very good English & explained everything so well, informing us about how the tunnels were excavated, how the Viet Cong lived there l and lots of details about the history of the area etc. We learned so much. The lunch provided was plentiful & tasty. Once we arrived back to Ho Chi Minh we were dropped back to our hotel. Really enjoyed the day.

This was such a good experience. Picked up at hotel and on the boat by 0730 headed up the Saigon river. That in itself was a wonderful experience passing fishermen, Buddhist monks and just river life in general. A huge shout out to our guide Anna. What a wealth of knowledge and really got us ahead of the crowds all day so we could soak the tunnel experience in before mayhem arrived in its cast of thousands. A+++ for this experience all round.

We really liked the tour. You will be picked up on time by a van at the hotel and taken directly to the river where the speedboat is waiting for you. During the 1.5h drive to the Tunnelb you will be provided with a delicious breakfast with coffee, sandwiches and fruit, as well as plenty of water. It is highly recommended to do the tour in the morning, as there are hardly any groups on site on arrival and you can explore everything in peace. Our guide Anna accompanied us superbly and explained everything about the tunnel system. In between there is a small snack on site (pandan tea and tapioca root). After you could crawl through a section of the tunnel yourself, we then head back to the entrance, where we are still directly having lunch together, which was also very delicious. Fruit and drinks are also offered on the way back. Overall, I can highly recommend the tour if you want to save yourself the long drive with a car and prefer to explore the surrounding area from the ship. One escapes the large crowds of visitors we saw arriving at the end of our tour with many vans. Back in HoChiMinh, the van is already waiting to drive you back to the hotel. Everything is organized. The booking via the Les Rives website was also straightforward and the communication to pick up by mail smooth.
