What To Expect
Te Anau
Your tour starts in stunning idyllic town of Te Anau, after maybe meeting some of the local animals or wildlife we continue along the lake. Stopping at Te Anau Downs the starting point for the Milford Track you will be able to hear the stories and admire the views.
Eglinton Valley
Leaving Te Anau and entering Fiordland National Park we stop in Eglinton Valley. With views worthy of Lord of the Rings this valley follows the path of an ancient glacier through Fiordland, one of the first major attractions as you enter the park. It really sets the scene for a journey that only get more impressive the deeper you get.

5.00Martin was our tour guide, he was friendly, informative and kept us all informed as to what we were seeing as we drove to Milford Sound. Being a smaller bus he was able to stop at places larger buses can’t so we saw some amazing sights. The cruise and scenery was awesome, the only downside being a lack of rain prior to our visit so the waterfalls were a bit sparse. The provided picnic lunch was also very good.

5.00Weather wise, it was not the best day ever, but that was made up for with our excellent tour guide and the small size of the tour group. While other tours were on giant busses, this one was our family and four other people. It was lovely! The guide was very well informed, and offered us a recommendation for a hike the next day that was absolutely spectacular, and a hidden gem! I would also add, the tour guide was really great with our kids too!

5.00We had an amazing day! Martin, our tour guide for the day, was friendly, enthusiastic and shared so much information with us as we passed through the Fiordlands National Park. We stopped to take in the incredible scenery at many different locations along the way and then enjoyed a delicious lunch and magnificent cruise through Milford sounds before making our way back to Te Anau. Would 100% recommend this trip to anyone visiting the South Island.

5.00Guide Jeff was great! He was able to capture our attention and gave so much information and history without being boring at all! Pitstops were made and memories captured! Wonderful! Ferry ride was boring for the kids

5.00Jason was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We stopped several times along the way to see different sights and Jason went above and beyond to show us as much as he could (lakes, lookouts, trails etc.) Milford Sound was incredible and the cruise was a great way to see the fjords. We felt safe the entire time and we got to experience everything we wanted. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough!
