A great way to do Milford Sound. Smaller tour, better travelling times with safe driving. Tour was on time and handy for flexible pickups. Tour stopped at many highlights on the way so plenty of times for photos. Steve was excellent tour guide. A bonus to have a local who shared all the local knowledge & stories which really adds to the tour. Really recommend.

Pick up was for Te Anau but a location was provided where we could meet as we stayed in Manapouri. The narration was great, stops were incredible, lunch was very good, and because of the rain the boat ride into Milford Sound was astonishingly beautiful! I’d highly recommend Cheeky Kiwi’s tour!

Had a wonderful experience. Jeremy was our guide and gave us the benefit of his vast knowledge of Milford Sound, the flora, fauna and the various stops along the way. He answered everyone’s questions and was eager for us to enjoy every moment of our day out. The trip exceeded expectations.

What a fantastic day! We had 16 guests on our small tour in the 16 seater mini-bus. That shows how popular this tour is. Every seat was booked. Jeremy was our guide and he was fantastic. He lived in Milford Sound for many years, and grew up in the area, so he knows all about the whole region. He was hospitable, obliging and in no rush to get us home so the pace was great. We had lots of informative stops on the way there and the way back to Te Anau. We learned the history, geology and geography of the area through his informative banter and stories. The picnic lunch was yummy, fresh and plentiful. The cruise was on a smaller boat with only around 40 people and the captain had also been in the region for almost 30 years. He grew up on boats so his skill was supreme. We got so close to the rocks, seals and he even got us under a waterfall. You can go outside right at the front of the boat for great views, or undercover at the back or just stay inside and look out the huge windows. The whole day was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend.

We were absolutely delighted and amazed with the tour from Te Anau to Milford Sound. Jeremy, our coach driver, was exceptional. His kind manner and informative talks were very well received. The tour surpassed our expectations and we were very happy with the whole day. Lunch was welcomed and the assortment provided were plentiful and delicious. The boat trip was wonderful too. The explanations and ability to get close to everything were amazing. We will definitely spread the word as this trip has been a highlight of our NZ holiday. Also the staff, prior to the day, communicated with me quickly answering my questions. A very professional, knowledgeable yet friendly company. Thank you.

Great tour, our guide Steve had excellent knowledge of the history and culture of the area. He gave good to the point answers to all questions that were put to him Even though it was a wet day he made us all feel comfortable with our surroundings. The boat trip on the sound was very good slow paced so you could enjoy all that surrounded you. Well done by all. Ross and Michael Perth WA

Where to begin - what an incredible experience. We've seen some incredible things in NZ but this might be the winner. Steve was an amazing host, so knowledgeable and entertaining. Even though I was a bit nervous about the windy roads down to Milford Sound in the rain I had total trust in Steve almost immediately and felt very safe. The packed lunch we got was very tasty. The views were amazing all accompanied by Steve's great facts. Going from Te Anau rather than Queenstown meant less travel time which was good. This tour uses a smaller boat which meant fewer people aboard and so a better experience and able to get closer to the cliffs and waterfalls. Can't recommend this tour enough!
