Strongly recommend the VIP version of the tour. Smaller group size, the ticketing and orchestration covered for us, and a fantastic narration from our guide Ursula. It was a wonderful day with the other tour group members.

The experience itself was great ... even in the rain we were able to enjoy the beauty of the castles and the locations. Our guide, Monika, was a bit less than we had hoped for ... not being always clear in direction or setting expectations which caused some frustrations. Still, a worthwhile experience and one I'd recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent tour of both Bavaria and Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castles. My son and I very much enjoyed everything about it. Ursula is an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about these sites. Vlade was a skilled and efficient driver, especially navigating the bus through some small streets.

We had the premium Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof VIP Tour. It was good to visit two castles in a day; expect to be rushed through them including the quaint and lovely small town of Oberammergau. The thing we like about tours is relaxing for the ride, enjoying the scenery, hearing the stories and history, and someone else taking care of the details. I would have liked to spend more time in the quaint town of Oberammergau and maybe eaten there instead of the castle area of Neuschwanstein, but it all worked out well.
