Our vineyards sit on Pueblo Eden’s rocky mountains slopes. The mineral character of our soils and it’s oceanic influence create the ideal conditions for the sustainable production of unique wines. Just minutes away from Punta del Este, on the panoramic Route 12, which is born in the Atlantic and makes its way across the mountains, you will find Viña Eden (Eden´s Vineyard), a naturally beautiful place to live an extraordinary experience.

Restaurant & Visits: With a menu inspired in fresh organic ingredients and small local producer’s specialties, we are open all year round. Visitors are offered lunch, wine tastings, can enjoy guided tours to the winery and vineyard, and organize social or corporate events in private spaces or the social area of the winery.

What To Expect

Tasting of 4 labels from the high end Viña Edén line: Methóde Champenoise (White or Rosé) + Chardonnay + Tannat Reserva + Cerro Negro Gran Reserva + variety of homemade artisan breads, vegetarian patés, olives, Viña Edén extra virgin olive oil + regional cheese and charcuterie platter + mineral water. Guided tour of the winery plant and cellar, during which the company’s history, winemaking philosophy and production methods are transmitted to visitors.

I tried to do the tour, when I went to make the payment I gave mistake. When I asked you to help the chat they sent me a link, automatically I got a notification of the card they were hacking me. Be careful, they're taking $5 out of you so you don't notice.

Beautiful view from the restaurant/tasting room. The wine for the tasting was very good and the pours were generous. The accompanying bread, cheese, and meat was a perfect mid-day meal. We were first served an excellent sparkling wine, followed by the best Chardonnay I've ever had. We bought two bottles that we need to get back to the US. Unfortunately they do not ship directly from the winery. The tannat and the red blend were good. We bought 1 of each (buy 3 bottles and the 4th is free). We also bought a bottle of olive oil produced by a nearby farm that the Vina Eden winery labels. It was topped off by an interesting tour of the winery. All in all a wonderful experience for our first full day in Uruguay and well worth the short drive through beautiful scenery from Punta del Este.

Vinicola boutique in a premium location near Punta del Este. The best wines of Uruguay (Cerro Negro and’ my favorite). Visit and premium tasting must be with the sommelier Cicero. 5-star restaurant at non-insulting prices. Soon you will have a 6 star hotel. Congratulations to Maurizio Zlatkin for his enthusiasm and engagement. All notes 10.

Awesome tasting at Viña Edén. Mario led us through their winemaking process and was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Fun fact - they are the only winery certified to produce kosher wine in Uruguay. As part of the tour, we barrel tasted an aging 2022 Tannat and a 2020 Tannat blend. After the tour we were presented with an amazing spread of local breads, meats, cheeses and the accompaniments to go with our wine tasting. Started with a sparkling wine, their Chardonnay, a Tannat and a Tannat blend. Heartily recommend this tasting, especially with Mario as a guide.

The wines are beautifully crafted and care is taken in each step of the production. The views are immaculate and the wine is so flavorful and smooth. The care for the environment and sustainability on the winery grounds exceeds expectations and we look forward to continued growth and success of this vineyard. It is definitely worth a trip to this location.
