What To Expect
Playa Flamingo
You will be picked up from your hotel promptly and taken to the border where your guide will assist you with every step of the crossing, which takes approximately 30 minutes. The guide will facilitate the process for you and will take care of all the passport and visa procedures. From here we will travel to have a good breakfast to start the day.
Mirador de Catarina
Here you can enjoy an incredible view over the crater of the dormant volcano, Granada and Lake Nicaragua. You will be allowed to walk freely for a while before getting back on the bus and heading to the next stop.

5.00Great day! Everything worked seamlessly. We did so much and really enjoyed it all, especially seeing the volcano. Eric and the driver took great care of us in Nicaragua, as did Michele and Mario in transporting us from the border and back in Costa Rica. Long day but well worth it!

5.00We were two couples vacationing in Costa Rica and wanted a tour that was short to Nicaragua. So we chose this one day visit. It took us two hours on a Monday morning at 7:50 AM. But once we got through immigration, it was a great day! The variety of attractions that are great tour guide, Eric showed us were so wonderful. He was a wealth of information. Just remember that when you’re going through immigration to take all your belongings with you because you will be in a different vehicle once you get to Nicaragua.

5.00I had an excellent experience from start to finish the Nicaragua Tour was excellent. They provided us with transportation from San Jose airport to Tamarindo and back. It was very hot, but I had cold water ready and an air-conditioned van, which was a relief. The communication to organize the trip was excellent. I highly recommend as they took the stress out of what could have been a difficult trip and made it much easier.
