After arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, you will go through airport formalities through the immigration system. You will be met at the arrival, get on our bus and drive straight to a restaurant for a welcome dinner/lunch (Depending on time of arrival). We wouldn’t spend much time on briefings and allow you to check in and settle for the night.

Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park
We will explore Accra shortly after breakfast. We aim to see the Independence Square, the National Museum, the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum which is the final resting place of the first president of Ghana.
W.E.B. DuBois Center
We will visit W.E.B. DuBois Memorial Centre. This is the center where Dr. DuBois (an academic and civil rights champion) spent the last 2 years working on a Pan African encyclopedia under the invitation Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. You will be given a guided tour through his historical research library.
Makola Market
After the tour we will visit Makola Market, the largest open market in Accra, you can talk with the women traders at the market and shop for cloth and local items. We will then drive to Art Centre, a large arts and crafts market where you can find handicrafts from all over Ghana and West Africa; here you will have the opportunity to use your bargaining skills. We will head back to our hotel before dark and have a cool and relaxation. We will experience nightlife in the evening.

Assin Manso
Today we will depart early in the morning from our hotel in Accra and head into the small but historically significant coastal community of Elmina approx. 4hrs drive. One of the first sites of European settlement in West Africa. En route, we will visit Assin Manso Slave Market, where the slaves were being kept. It is less than hundred kilometers from where the slave ships were docked at Cape Coast and Elmina, the captives were encamped for their last bath with African water, in a river known as “Donko Nsuo”, Slave River. We will have a healing tour to reconnect with our ancestors. After the tour we will drive to our hotel chillax and reflex on today activities. In the evening, we will enjoy an African drumming and dance performance by Akomapa dance group.

Today we will visit a community in Elmina for the Naming Ceremony. We will call on the Chief and elders of the community who will welcome you by pouring libation (a traditional way of welcoming you to the community). You will be given a local Ghanaian name and become part of the community.

After the ceremony, we will visit Elmina and Cape Coast Slave Dungeon which we will see the historical slave dungeon and the door of no return.
Kakum National Park
We will visit Kakum National Park, The National Park protects an area of rainforest, home to endangered mammals such as forest elephants, bongo antelopes and primates like the Diana monkey. The park is rich in butterflies and birds, including African grey parrots and hornbills. The Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground, provides treetop views of the forest. We will head back to our hotel for a rest and relaxation.

This morning, we will have breakfast and depart from our hotel and head into Kumasi, one of Ghana’s largest cities (Approximately 5hrs’ drive). We will make a stop at a local School and have interactions with the pupils, present our donations and observe classes etc. We will visit Adawomase Kente Village, Kente is a colorful Ghanaian traditional fabric which is worn mostly on important occasions and celebrations. A lot of the Kente cloth that we see in Ghanaian markets actually comes from Kumasi. We will visit a Cocoa Farm where we will get to tour one of Ghana's oldest and finest cocoa farms. We will get to see the day-to-day practices of the farm and also see how rural folk in Ghana live. the food they eat and all, you also get to see some products made by this farm from cocoa that is not seen anywhere else in the world. We will check-in in our hotel and have a cool and relaxation there after a long and eventful day.

Manhyia Palace Museum
Today we will have breakfast and spend the rest of the day exploring the city. We will visit the historical Manhyia Palace Museum, the seat of the Asantehene of Asanteman, as well as his official residence.
Okomfo Anokye Sword Site
We will then visit the Cultural Centre, the Sword Monument of Okomfo Anokye and discover the world of modern art in a clean and comfortable museum setting.
Kejetia Market
Kejatia Market market is our next destination, West Africa's busiest and largest open air markets. You will get the chance to talk with the women traders at the market and shop for cloth and local items; here you will have the opportunity to use your bargaining skills. We will arrive in time before dark and have a cool relaxation at our hotel. In the evening, we will go and experience night life in Kumasi.

We will depart Kumasi after breakfast to Accra. After check-in, you have the rest of the day to yourselves; you can do whatever you want to do.

Odumase Krobo
Today we will depart shortly after breakfast to Akosombo, about 2hrs drive. En route, we will visit Cedi Beads, where glass bottles are recycled into beads. We will have lunch and go on a Boat Cruise on the world’s largest man-made lake to the side view of Ghana’s hydro-electric Dam. We will drive back to Accra and aim to reach our hotel before dark. We will experience night life in the evening.

Today will depart our hotel later in the day and head to the Beach, we will spend the entire day relaxing at the beach. Lovers of horseback riding will get the opportunity to ride. We will have our last dinner in Ghana and reflect on the trip. Dress code should be an African Attire.

Today is your last day in Ghana, we will have a rest and relaxation at our hotel. We will visit Accra Mall for shopping and depart to the airport.
