What To Expect
Chengdu - Huanglong National Park - Jiuzhaigou Hotel

Pick up at 8 am from your hotel, transfer to Chengdu Train Station to Songpan, when you arrive you will meet by local driver and drive to Huanglong National Park directly. One way cable car up to the highest point，then walk down on wooden boardpath to famous main site of Five Colors Pond, and Huanglong Temple, after walk down towards the entrance to view sites along the way, total about 4 to 5 hours. Later get picked up and transfer to Jiuzhaigou, overnight at Holiday Inn Express hotel or same standard.

Transfer to the gate before 8 am, driver help to pick up ticket and bus ticket, （ask the driver give you contact phone number), take the bus up to Primeval Forest direction, but not all the way to the last station, get off at Mirror Lake Station, visit this lake with calm water like a mirror. Get on the bus again go further to Five Flowers Lake, which is the most beautiful lake among all lakes in the park, after that walk along wooden plank road to Arrow Bamboo Lake, then get on the bus on the other side of Road go back to Ruorilang Shuttle Station, from there walk about 300 meters to Ruorilang Waterfall, after visiting, get on bus again direction toward entrance, get off at Rhino Lake, one by one to Tiger Lake ans Shuzhen Waterfall. Now check if still have time, can keep walk down to visit Fire Lake, Double Dragon Lake and Reed Lake, if not much time left, get on the bus to the entrance, meet driver at agreed place before 6:30pm and drive to Train Station back to Chengdu.
Chengdu
After arrival Chengdu East Train Station, follow direction sign to West Square till see a Burger King restaurant, meet local driver in front of the restaurant and transfer to your hotel.

Not a "tour"- Do not recommend for solo travel

2.00This is not a tour, only a company buying tickets for you and arranging transportation. While the drivers were nice, there is absolutely no way this should have cost me $800 USD (for comparison, I flew roundtrip Florida to New Zealand for only $700). They dropped me off at the train station in Chengdu where I then had to figure out what to do on my own (I had never taken a train previously). And the process repeated- I was then dropped off near the entrance to Huanglong and just told to "walk that way." I returned to the driver in the afternoon where I was transported to the next city/hotel, told that the entrance to Jiuzhaigou was about 500 meters away so I could just walk, and then meet the driver back at the hotel at 4pm the next day. The hotel was a Holiday Inn Express- definitely not "4 star"- I literally had trash as the view out my window! I was then dropped off uphill in the rain from the next train station for the return trip to Chengdu where I had to figure out the train situation on my own again (different station set-up). I feel like this company greatly took advantage of me in terms of cost. I can check the price of the train tickets and know the hotel was only about $60 USD. Even paying the drivers well (which I am certain they didn't receive even close to the amount I paid), this should have been $400 at the most and there still would have been profit fot the company.

4.00Very well organized and tour conductor's replies were always quick and precise. The driver does not speak English and I never speak Chinese, but we could cope with the translation application. It could have been better if I could choose the train back to Chengdu, as I knew I would be able to walk faster than average.
