Alex is a friendly and knowledgeable guide who is well known in his home of Rocinha. He gives you clear instructions to ensure your safety and he gave us an authentic experience in the favela.

This tour was brilliant. Alex was amazing to deal with, grew up in Rocinha so is very knowledgeable and great at explaining the history and culture of Rio's largest favela. Alex made sure we felt safe throughout and it was lovely interacting with the local community. The tour started with a ride to the top of the Rocinha and we then walked down through the winding streets, stopping at various shops and spots for the views. We'd highly recommend this tour with Alex if you are visiting Rio!

The best experience and views in Rio. Alex is so knowledgeable and loves to share the beauty of Rochina. He also sells beautiful artwork he painted. We love it and have it up in our home remember this amazing place. High recommended.

What an amazing experience!! Alex knew everyone there and made me feel like family! Rio’s a magical place and rocinha is the heart of the city. How fun it was to meet locals and experience the culture of the favela. We’ll be back!

This is the best favela tour in Rio. Alex is amazing. He knows everybody in the favela so you feel completely safe. It's super fun and such a unique experience you'll never foget.

This is a must! If you're planning on going to Rio then you have to do a favela tour. Alex was an awesome guide and is local to the area which made us feel safe. Such an amazing experience!
