Our trip began with our driver and guide, Billy, picking us up directly from the hotel lobby. From the start, he provided excellent door-to-door service, explaining the driving distance, estimated travel times, and what we could expect throughout the day. During the journey, he shared fascinating information about Mongolia, its culture, and history, making the drive both enjoyable and informative. Billy was friendly, approachable, and very easy to get along with. Upon arriving at our first destination, he helped us get settled and guided us to our yurt. Throughout the trip, he kept us informed of the schedule, provided updates on upcoming activities, and always made sure we were comfortable. We especially appreciated that he regularly checked in regarding the weather and adjusted plans based on our preferences. On the second day, which involved more travel and excursions, Billy continued to provide clear timing and detailed explanations about each activity. He accompanied us during our visit with a local family and our camel-riding experience, helping with communication and providing valuable context and information. While we were on the camel ride, he patiently waited for us and ensured everything ran smoothly. He consistently kept us updated on travel distances and estimated arrival times for each destination. Our second evening at the yurt was especially memorable. We enjoyed a campfire, listened to music, and spent time talking about Mongolian history and culture. It was a wonderful experience, and we were extremely pleased with the level of service and professionalism Billy provided throughout the trip. If you’re planning a visit to Mongolia, I highly recommend booking a professional guide like Billy. The amount of off-road driving involved is impressive, and having an experienced local guide who knows the terrain, routes, and culture makes all the difference. Billy’s knowledge, organization, and hospitality greatly enhanced our experience and helped make this trip truly unforgettable.

My friend and I came to Mongolia for a short 4 day visit and had one of the best and most memorable trips! Our tour guide Enya was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable about Mongolian history, plants, birds and answered all of our questions thoughtfully. Jack was a great driver with a nice, clean car. For my birthday, one of the days on the trip, Enya and Jack bought a cake for me to help celebrate! Overall, we had a nice time and highly recommend using Amicus Travel

Enya and Jack were the best driver and guide duo possible! They made our 4 day trip a great experience. Enya has the most impressive english vocabulary and is great at plant and animal identification. Jack drove us out away from Ger camp lights at night to see stars and always made sure we were comfortable in the car. Happy to explore Mongolia!
