An exciting tour. Visit unexpected places when you talk about the desert. Then the experience in the desert watching the sunset and then the sunrise leaves you with a profound sense of bliss and enchantment. All the people involved in the tour are welcoming, kind, and professional. Our guide, Ismail, is also friendly, warm, and jovial. The camp is more than a 5-star hotel. An experience to repeat.

We just got back from our incredible journey from Marrakech to Fes. My good friend, her daughter, and I embarked on a three-day tour beginning in Marrakech and ending in Fes. Along the way, we saw breathtaking sights that pictures simply cannot do justice, experienced the culture firsthand, and enjoyed delicious food throughout the trip. From the majestic Atlas Mountains to exploring vibrant markets and crossing the Sahara Desert, it is hard to choose a favorite part of the journey. Our accommodations were wonderful, but the highlight of the trip was our amazing guide, Ibrahim. He made the experience both fun and informative and tailored everything perfectly to our interests. Although, initially, I was hesitant about this part of our trip, it was the highlight of my journey and I look forward to going back and taking a longer excursion next time.

My husband and I did a 6 day tour from Tangier to Marrakech in May 2026. From the initial contact with Ismail through email to the very end, communication with Moroccan Tours was excellent! Everything was as described, from total pricing to the itinerary details on their website. Our entire tour through Morocco was private, and our driver Aziz was absolutely amazing. He was very hospitable, always had waters for us ready when he picked us up. We were having difficulties withdrawing money from the bank, and on more than one occasion, Aziz lent us money while we worked out the kinks with our bank. We jokingly referred to our “loans” from him as getting cash from “The Bank of Aziz” because that’s how generous he always was. He never left us stranded and was very patient and kind. One tip I would give is to try to withdraw from Bank of Africa - this bank seemed to be the only one that worked for us. I would also recommend taking out a little more than you think you need because we fell short in having enough money for extra expenses like tipping staff and guides. Since we were having such difficulties with the bank, we ended up taking out just enough to get us by- that is one regret we have which is all on us and nothing to do with Moroccan Tours. Without Aziz, our trip would have been really stressful. One of my favorite parts of the trip was having breakfast so I could eat traditional Moroccan bread - msemen! I also really loved that they served tea everywhere. I naturally drink herbal teas at home, so I felt like I was at home. I would recommend bringing allergy medicine, or if you don’t mind trying out the local pharmacies, you could also do that. I’m not sure if we were just adjusting to the climate or what but we were sneezing a lot. I didn’t know I was going to love Morocco so much - we’ve been back in the US for 5 days now and I miss it already. Besides the money hassles and allergies, the only other thing I would change is that I wished our trip was longer! I’m already looking forward to booking our next trip to this beautiful country and recommend everyone to book through Moroccan Tours!

Super positive experience! Everything was organized according to our needs, with truly special and friendly people! Great accommodations and a super clean and fragrant van! Only the city tour of Marrakech was a bit too quick, without giving us time to fully enjoy the visit! A thank you to Khalid and especially to the special and unique Ismail!

Our trip from Marrakech to Fes via the Merzouga Desert was an unforgettable experience. As two female friends from Canada traveling in Morocco, we felt very safe and comfortable with our private driver, Abdel Aziz (Aziz). He speaks good English, drives safely, and was always respectful, patient, and kind. Aziz took us to beautiful scenic stops, introduced us to authentic homemade Moroccan food, and shared wonderful Amazigh music during our journey. One of the most special moments was visiting his father’s old nomadic home in the desert. Hearing how his father built a business from nothing through hard work and taught his children strong work ethics was truly inspiring. The desert camp experience, with music, drums, and fireworks in the evening, was magical. Despite the long drive from Marrakech to Fes, Aziz was always smiling and checking to make sure we were comfortable. We highly recommend Aziz to anyone visiting Morocco, and we would definitely travel with him again!

We took a 4 day 3 nights tour from Fez to Marrakesh with 2 nights in Sahara. We practically never take tours as we prefer to make our own itinerary based on what interests us, so honestly we were looking more for a safe transportation option than a guided tour. I picked this company because they were very reliable communicators (WhatsApp), they didn't stress us out about booking "too late" (January for April), they were very flexible with the dates and itinerary and not pushy. We ended up doing a 50/50 mix of our own activities and of what they suggested, and we did enjoy what they offered. The highlight of the trip was meeting local people and talking to them, and in this respect our driver Hicham was a pure treasure. He was the perfect choice for this trip as he actually grew up in the desert including as a nomad in early childhood. He never received much formal schooling to my understanding, but yet he spoke more languages and was better at math than me with my doctorate degree. He never complained about life in Morocco which was also very refreshing, and was very calm, unhurried, and did not insist on doing too many touristy things. I asked him a lot of personal questions about his life and his family as it was fascinating to me, and he did not mind answering at all. Hicham and everyone we met on our journey seemed to have this sense of pride in their culture and acceptance of the way their lives were. Safety and driving-wise everything was solid, the car was comfortable and new (Toyota Land Cruiser with leather interior), Hicham's driving skills were impeccable, and he even washed and vacuumed the car after we emerged from the desert. The only negative fact was that even though we pre-booked with this company 2.5 months prior to the trip, a week prior we were told one of the hotels was not available at a price we agreed upon. So either we had to pay extra 300 euros for bigger rooms or to downgrade a hotel. We chose the latter and I absolutely regretted it, as the hotel (Xaluca Dades) felt very run down and mass production. Poorly working ACs and toilets, a giant insect inside of the room, dozens of tourists from mega buses chain smoking around the pool and the bar. But the desert camp they offered (Morocco Luxury desert camp with A/C & heating) was absolutely great. Would definitely recommend this company, just avoid Xaluca Dades hotel.:)

We had a 3-day tour from Marrakech to the desert in Merzouga and it was just amazing. We travelled very comfortably on the van and our guide Ismail was fantastic: experienced, well prepared and kind for the whole tour, always available to share stories about Berber culture and Moroccan history. The tour was very well organized, we felt they took good care of us, and we would definitely recommend it
