• One of the best tours we've ever taken! These guys are the Best!!

  We were planning to visit Istanbul at the end of a cruise last year, but sadly the cruise was cancelled. Our original plans were to use Guided Istanbul Tours (GIT) for a three day tour of Istanbul....but happlily, we were able to reschedule our travels and made a 10-day tour of all of Turkey out of the journey. And GIT handled everything every step of the way and it could not have been more perfect!! We began our travels arriving at the airport, where our guide, Fatih, patientially awaited to escort us to our hotel (which GIT recommended...it too was amazing!). Next day, our 3-days in Istanbul, all with a private guide began and Tolga, our guide was terrific. We saw all of the "must see" sites and ever some special places too. Next onto Cappadocia for 2-nights, including a hot air balloon....all arranged by GIT. Again, a beautiful transfer from the airport to the hotel and an exceptional guide with John. Finally, off to Ephesus and Pamukkale for another 2-night visit with Pinar, who was amazing! And finally, back to Istanbul for 2 final nights before heading home. GIT handled all of the logistics perfectly. Drivers everywhere, on time...guides were all top rate and wonderful...recommended hotels were exceptional and well priced and domestic airline flights were exactly as promised. This company is the BEST! They're professional, friendly, helpful and always available....ever single email was responded to within 4 hours! They're amazing. I can't recommend GIT highly enough and there's no question that we'll be using them again when we next visit Turkiye!

• An unforgettable stay from start to finish

  We booked with Guided Istabul Tours to plan a short vacation to Turkey, our first. They gave us the outline of the trip (where we would be and when) and recommended flights, hotels and activities in each location from which we had to select our preferences and book directly with each. We then provided GIT with our selections and they ensured we would coordinate the transfers and guides. Everything went very smoothly in each location. Our guide for our 3 days in Istanbul, Torga, was terrific. He was knowledgeable and provided great information about all the sites. There is so much to learn in Istanbul and thanks to Torga we learned a lot. In Cappadocia our guide was John from Bee Travel Turkey. He was outstanding! Our two days with him flew by. From the moment we met him (after taking an early morning hot air balloon ride) to the moment we said goodbye his friendly and warm personality and incredible knowledge of the area made the visit incredible. I can't imagine a better guide for Cappadocia than John - he was exceptional. Finally, Pinar in Kusadasi was amazing! She spent two days sharing with us her knowledge of everything from the house of the Virgin Mary, to the historic city of Ephesus to the ancient site of Hierapolis and the calcium baths of Pamukkale. Her beaming smile and warm, down-to-earth personality made our visit amazing. She is phenomenal and a real asset to GIT! All of the guides that were assigned to us spoke perfect English. All of our transfers went without a hitch from pickup to drop off. Water was always provided and stops for restrooms were frequent. We were always made to feel comfortable wherever we were. Thanks to Guided Istanbul Tours for such a unforgettable first visit to Turkey! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  Our experience with Istanbul Guided Tours exceeded our expectations. Our tour guides were some best we have encountered in our travels. Special mention to Melih Yöntem who is an extremely knowledgable on our Byzantine and Ottoman requested sights during our Istanbul 3 day tour w/ him. The highlight of our trip was the sunrise balloon ride in Cappadocia. Would highly recommend Istanbul Guided Tours and our guides: Melih, Unlure and Aybike Liza.

  I had Pinar host me for the final two days of this adventure. She was an extremely generous host and frequently offered flexibility with our itinerary. She was also a highly experienced tour guide who knew her way around the various locations and was extremely knowledgable, having a deep understanding of the local sites.   My husband and I went on the private 4 day tour to Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Pamukkale, and we absolutely loved it. Famous was our tour guide in Cappadocia, and he was incredibly knowledgeable on local history and geology, which was our focus for that portion of the tour. Tijen was our guide in Ephesus and Pamukkale, and she was incredibly knowledgeable on the different religions and history of the region, which was our focus for that portion. Both guides were so friendly and hospitable and made us feel welcome in their country. The tour coordinators were also very helpful and responded quickly whenever I had a question. We would use this tour group again if we come back to Turkey, and we have already inquired about a different tour that they offer. Cappadocia is a beautiful part of Turkey, and I highly recommend staying in one of the cave hotels that the tour group recommends and taking a hot air balloon ride. That was one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed in the Yunak Evleri cave hotel, which is one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. I had never booked a private multi-day tour, and I had some anxiety booking something this big based on just reviews from strangers online plus a couple of travel articles, but I am so glad I went through with it. It was worth every penny, and we saw the regions of Turkey that most interested us that we would not otherwise have seen. The best part was we learned so much from our excellent, friendly guides.

  We really liked the experience: it was a mix of history with the animation of modern times. It all went very well: The guides, transfers, hotels and activities were very balanced and responded to what we really wanted. We were a group of 9 and everyone liked it very much

  We got awesome travel experience from two great tour guides accompanied us. What's more that made it extra special, they made extra effort to let us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with lots of surprises. Their expertise and professionalism, and good hearted truly best represented their agency. Even the coach drivers gives us the feeling we were in good hands.   We decide to go to Turkey for our wedding anniversary. It has been amazing. We have spent 5 days in Turkey from Istanbul to Cappadocia. Everything was very well organized. Burak our guide in Istanbul was so well prepare, answering to all the questions and taking care of us. Cappadocia is an amazing place to visit, at least once in the life. Beautiful place.
