On a private vehicle on an exclusive use basis, we focus our safari on your interest and what you like to see most. A highly qualified Fgasa and experienced field guide takes you in a open safari vehicle to be more in tune and in “touch“ with your senses in this natural habitat.

What To Expect
You will get the opportunity to enjoy this unforgettable experience with a Full Day safari, on a Private safari vehicle, inside the BIG 5 world better known as Kruger National Park, accompanied by an expert and highly qualified guide, ready and prepared to answer any questions or curious thoughts of the flora and fauna that surround us. On an open game viewing vehicle (4x4 safari jeep) to focus on your passion and interest. Perfect vehicle for higher visibility and to enhance your experience, taking in the natural beauty around you. Although Hoedspruit is surrounded by the Kruger, the closest entrance gate to the park, Orpen, is only about an hour’s drive away from town. A light breakfast is included in the safari and you will be spoiled with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, yoghurt & muesli, homemade muffins and rusks. For lunch we will stop in one of the rest camps. After lunch you will continue your safari, exiting the park before gate closing time and traveling back to Hoedspruit.

5.00We had a top holiday and experience at Marta and Wiann. We were super warmly welcomed by Marta and received a delicious welcome drink. Every morning we got a delicious breakfast from Marta and Wiann (even in the Kruger park we enjoyed our chocolate coffee, recommended by Wiann. We got typical South African cookies that you could dip in the coffee and other homemade treats). The accommodation was top notch! We enjoyed the peace and luxury. The contact with Marta was excellent, responds quickly and likes to think along with you. We spent a few days with Wiann at the Kruger. Wiann told us all about the animals and nature in the Kruger park, this man has so much knowledge! Unfortunately we were not able to spot all the animals of the big 5. That gives us a good reason to go back again and if we are going to do that then we will definitely go back to Marta and Wiann!

5.00We had a simply extraordinary experience with Braai Safari: a private and fully personalized 5-day safari in Kruger National Park just for me and my wife, led by Marta and Wiann... and to say it was perfect is simplistic. From the first moment we knew we were in exceptional hands: professionalism, genuine passion for nature and an incredible ability to read the bush and anticipate the movements of animals. In five days we spotted ALL the predators we dreamed of seeing — and more. Lions with cubs, elegant and majestic leopards, cheetahs, hyenas with young, lycans with cubs... and as if that wasn't enough, even the very rare pangolin! A sighting that happens to very few and that we still struggle to believe was real. Each day was studied in detail, but always with great flexibility to follow the nature and opportunities of the moment. Marta and Wiann don’t just “take you to see animals”: they really let you into the ecosystem, explain, tell, share curiosities and make you feel part of something unique. And then breakfasts in the bush... a magical moment. Every day they prepared us a delicious breakfast, served in the middle of nature, surrounded only by the sounds of the savannah. Sitting there, with the scent of coffee and the endless horizon ahead, we felt privileged like never before. It was much more than a safari: it was an intimate, exciting experience, tailor-made for us, which we will carry in our hearts forever. 5.00We did a full day private 4x4 tour of Kruger. I didn’t have a South African sim so organised the pick up details through Marta via WhatsApp which was very easy and she arranged a pick up outside of the usual areas which was very helpful for us. Our guide was Jean, he was great, we wanted to see more smaller animals and birds, which we did as well as seeing 4 out of the 5, big 5. The breakfast provided was also great. We had a brilliant time and would recommend 100%.

5.00We had such an amazing day with Braai Safari’s in the KNP! We had the luck of seeing white lions! Wiann is such a good guide and knows exactly what to do when you are at a sighting. You can ask him anything about the wildlife and nature. Together with Marta they are the best team to enjoy everything including the breakfast and picnic lunch, which is delicious. Thanks again for this beautiful day!

5.00We went on a two-day safari with overnight stay at Satara camp with Wiann. Everything was above all expectations, not only for the good fortune to spend two whole days in the beautiful Kruger landscape and witness unique and extremely exciting scenes of life in nature, but also and above all for being accompanied by Wiann. It is as if Wiann also belonged to the park: his passion, knowledge and respect for nature impressed us, as did his patience, kindness and smile. We saw a lot, learned a lot, we got excited and we were lucky enough to meet a beautiful person (and only briefly the sunny Marta, for a few minutes). Thanks for everything. Paola and Gigi

5.00Our Kruger safari was simply unforgettable! Wian is an extraordinary guide: competent, passionate and able to make us feel every moment as a gift of nature. Every explanation, every sighting, every silence in the savannah had something special thanks to him. Marta took care of everything in every detail: impeccable organization, perfect rhythms and a Welcoming that allowed us to live the trip in total relaxation. The villa was beautiful, surrounded by nature and equipped with every comfort. A heartfelt thanks also to Rose, who with her cuisine made us discover the authentic flavors of South Africa: every dish was a cuddle! And then that final evening around the fire, under a sky full of stars, with the scent of braai in the air... pure magic ✨ An authentic, exciting experience with attention to every detail. Marta organized every detail with great care, allowing us to enjoy the experience without worries. The villa we stayed in was simply gorgeous, cozy and surrounded by nature. Special thanks also to Rose, who made us taste delicious local dishes, and for the wonderful final evening with braai around the fire, a truly magical moment that we will always carry in our hearts. 5.00We stayed at the Braai Safari Lodge with safaris inside the Kruger and the experience was unforgettable. Marta and Wiann were very kind and helpful from the first moment, making us feel immediately at home. Our room was gorgeous: tastefully decorated, complete with every comfort and with a private pool overlooking the greenery, where it was not uncommon to meet nyalas or small birds. Marta pampered us with a thousand attentions, taking care of every detail of the stay. Breakfast and dinner were served in the garden of the Marula Villa, a true oasis of peace. Being vegan, we were impressed by the variety and quality of the dishes: every night a different proposal, full of local flavors, with a vegan dessert always new. Rose is an amazing cook! Breakfasts were also excellent, with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and daily special preparation such as pancakes, muffins or hot cross good... The safaris were the most exciting aspect of the trip. Wiann is an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, passionate and always available to answer any questions. It enriched us not only with information about large mammals, but also about plants and birds, giving us unforgettable moments. Thanks to him we were lucky enough to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, zebras and gazelles. Moreover, he speaks very good Italian, which allowed us to appreciate his explanations even more. A stay that we will always carry in our hearts.

5.00If you think a drive through Kruger might be boring - think again. The safari with Wionne from Braai Safaris is a most wonderful experience. It’s like being on one the very expensive commercial lodges but traversing a much larger area. Wionne is one of the best guides I ever had - and I traveled Africa for more than fifty years. He’s very likable and shows you everything from the big five to the tiniest dragon fly. He’ll answer every question you might ever have and do enlarges your knowledge immensely. The ride in his safari vehicle is very comfortable and the attention to detail is to be highly commended. The food that Marta prepared is really great. My friends and I had an unforgettable day. We already booked our next safari with them.
