During this private tour, starting from a minimum of 2 people, you'll embark on a 6-hour journey in a comfortable air-conditioned car to visit three esteemed Etna wineries, where you will learn about their wine production process. Renowned for its fertile soil nourished by the eruptions of Mount Etna, this Region is hailed as one of the world's finest for grape cultivation and wine production. You will visit three top Etna wineries. Wines of these wineries are on top lists of premium wine associations. You will have the opportunity to taste a variety of white, rosé, and red wines, complemented by fresh domestic food. Immerse yourself in the authentic Sicilian countryside ambiance as you savor each sip of wine.
All expenses, including food, beverages, and entrance fees, are covered in the tour price. Additionally, this tour is also available as a semi-private experience, accommodating up to 8 individuals.

What To Expect
Your personal tour leader will pick you up at your hotel/port and from there you will start your wonderful private journey through three Etna wineries. Driving through small authentic mountain villages, you will admire unforgettable views of Sicilian countryside full of oranges and lemon plantations, olives and almond trees, houses and old churches built of lava stone. Finally you will reach the first venue, welcomed by a sommelier who will explain you the wine production process. In here you will taste 3 Etna DOC wines paired with an assortment of small bites of local bread rolls filled with sun-dried tomatoes and olives.. Enjoying the panoramic view of Etna, you will drive to the second venue, another outstanding Etna winery, where, with a professional sommelier, you will taste 4 wines of the Region accompanied by a traditional “tagliere” of local products and pasta. You will continue the tour to the next venue, a winery with an authentic charm. Here you will taste 3 red and white wines accompanied by fresh domestic appetizers: locally produced cheeses, meat delicacies, olives, olive oil and fresh bread. After the tour, your guide will bring you back to your accommodation.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and our guide, Julianno, was so friendly and fun. Everything was organized and easy. Highly recommend this tour if you love wine, great company, and amazing views!

5.00What a great day exploring the Sicilian My Etna countryside! Our driver Marco was great! We first stopped at La Gelsomina, which we had already been to on a previous tour, but it was still great. We were able to try different wines than tasted on the previous visit. Next we visited a small winery, Antichi Vini do Sicilia, where we toured the small wine making shop and then went upstairs to learn about the different wines and had a lovely lunch outside overlooking the sea. We sampled 4 different wines including a dessert almond wine. We also enjoyed the delicious antipasto, eggplant Parmesan pasta, and dessert. Lastly, we visited Nero winery which had lovely views of Mt Etna and enjoyed a small antipasto platter and samples 3 lovely wines. It was interesting to learn about grapes grown in the region that I have never heard of before. Great tour and a must do for wine lovers!

5.00We had a great time on our tour. Our guide Alessandro picked us up at our hotel in Taormina. He was friendly, and professional. He drove a comfortable van through the countryside to 3 beautiful places to sample some excellent wines. One served a lovely meal, the others served small dishes to complement the wines. Wines were available for purchase but there was no hard sell, which we appreciated. All told it was a great day.

5.00We had a wonderful day. From the start, our guide, Massimo, was friendly and very informative about the areas we were passing through. Each winery was very nice. Although the woman at our second stop was not very welcoming, our first and last stops were amazing and we had a great time tasting local wines. They give you plenty of snacks and food throughout as well.

We were in great hands all day with Giuseppe, who was incredibly accommodating (including our last minute change in pickup), knowledgeable, great driver navigating the windy roads and avoiding some backups, very friendly. The three wineries complemented each other well. First was relatively small, family run. Learned a lot about the different grapes and wines in the Etna area, how the different wines are made, aging time and what the different wines are aged in. A beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyard and looking down to the sea. Generous sampling of five wines plus a hearty lunch (focaccia sandwich, eggplant side, followed by delicious pasta alla Norma prepared by the owner’s wife and dessert. The second vineyard was slightly larger with a helpful tour of the grounds. 4 good wines to sample. Final vineyard still had many grapes on the vine ready to be harvested and a lovely tasting room. Delicious platter of local meats and cheeses. No hard sell on the wines, reasonable prices and helpful shipping options. Highly recommend

5.00This is a really special experience and we would 100% recommend. I went with my wife on a private tour and we were very well looked after by both Sandra and Giuseppe. The wineries were all different in character but universally interesting and with delicious wines on offer. This is a must-do if you’re visiting the area.
