Great guide who was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area took us to 3 wineries of different sizes and all were fabulous!! Highly recommend this tour! Spend the money. Plan to taste a lot of wine, eat delicious food and enjoy the hospitality.

Was expecting a winery tour and Bruno gave us not only a memorable experience at 3 very different area wineries, but a fantastic overview of the history and culture of the region. Bruno picked us up at our hotel in Taormina. Three wineries, 1st a well established winery with very attentive service and a wide range of varietals. Beautiful setting and large tasting dining room. 2nd a very small winery tucked into the hills, the owner served us an amazing lunch his wife had prepared earlier. 3rd winery was very close to Mt Etna, an active volcano! It was so close! The tasting room looked out over the Valley and the new of the crater made for great photo ops. All the way, Bruno kept things interesting and engaging with the winery staff.

Marco was our driver, and he was pleasant and friendly. His English was good, and he did a very nice job driving the roads to the wineries. All three wineries were a very nice experience with good explanations, and wonderful wine tastings and lunch. A very enjoyable day.

Wow, what an excellent tour of boutique wineries on the slopes of Mount Etna! We visited with our guide Maurizio, a native of the area, and he selected three fantastic wineries. We did this as a shore excursion from the cruise port in Messina, and it was an ideal activity. The three wineries were gorgeous, with beautiful views and lush settings, and of course delicious wine that we won’t see in the US. We also had an excellent lunch served as part of the excursion, by one of the wineries. It will probably be the best food we have in Italy! A highly recommended activity if you love wine, or have already vacationed in Sicily and are looking for something a little different to do. Definitely request Maurizio as your guide, he is an excellent driver and knows all the wineries and operators there. You’ll have a great day!
