  I have been going to Aruba every February for the last seven years. I do this Octopus private speedboat tour every year! They take you to the best snorkeling spots, they are obsessed with safety, and they tailor the experience to what you want. It is hands-down, the best value you can get for a private boat with your family on the island. All the drivers are amazing and so much fun! This year, unfortunately, my daughter got sick the day of the tour. A woman named Miriam for Marina in the Octopus kiosk helped me to postpone and she was so caring and helpful. She even helped me find a doctor for my daughter! Nita in the office was so helpful as well! Perfect option for a private trip with family or friends!

  Our group of eight, which included four kids (ages 6-9), had a great time on our snorkeling tour. We extended the tour to 3 hours which allowed for some extra time at each stop. Lex (the captain) and Jamil were friendly and very knowledgeable. They were able to customize an itinerary on the spot to adapt to the needs of our group and the weather conditions. We would definitely book again.

  Lex hosted us for a two hour snorkeling excursion for just myself and my husband. He was very friendly and easy going and shared some interesting information about Aruba while we rode between sites. The reef stop was the best for viewing coral and several types of fish. We’d originally booked for a Tuesday but they called and cancelled us early the day prior as the seas were very rough. We appreciated the notice in advance and were rescheduled immediately for Friday for our preferred date and time. Thanks for a nice experience!

  we had a great time. easy to communicate in advance. easy pick up right on the beach. my boyfriend and i had different levels of experience and interest in snorkeling ams had an equal amount of fun. captain lex was so chill and made it enjoyable and gave us some history. would recommend for an easy snorkeling trip and a gold value.

  we did a private tour with captain Lex and had a great time. good value, picks you up on the beach in the boat if you request the pick up. head to two very different snorkeling spots- tons of fish! had some strong rum punches and a really fun time.

  Our son surprised the family with a private snorkel trip. 10 of us which included a 2,3 and 9 year old. Crew was wonderful can’t say enough how attentive they were and just nice guys. Snacks and drinks delicious and they even had gluten free snacks for me. Saw turtles,stingray, beautiful fish. They kept us in calm waters since we took the kids in and we had a wonderful and memorable morning. Highly recommend. Felt completely safe with the little ones.

  We went private snorkeling excursion, just the two of us Our captain was LEX. I hope I’m spelling his name right a wonderful guy originally from the Netherlands. I would ask for him if you can. My wife is a very good snorkeler, but I am not quite a beginner, but not quite comfortable. He took us to quiet areas where we saw a fish, but it wasn’t overly challenging with waves. It was very beneficial plus, he wasn’t a very good instructor and he was patient and gave us good tips as to how to snorkel. It made a huge difference to have him.

  From the driver's at pick up to the boat captain, they were all amazing! They made us feel safe and comfortable!! They do private excursions, so no sharing the boat with strangers. Highly recommend! 10 out 10.

  Hands down the best snorkeling experience I’ve ever had. Booking a private tour with Lex was absolutely the way to go. The one-on-one setup made the entire experience feel relaxed, personal, and perfectly tailored to us—no crowds, no rushing, just pure enjoyment. Lex is truly the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate, making sure we were comfortable the entire time while showing us incredible spots we never would’ve found on our own. It felt less like a tour and more like snorkeling with a friend who knows all the hidden gems. If you’re debating between a group tour or a private tour, go private. The intimacy, flexibility, and personalized attention made this experience unforgettable.
