Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit
It's large bronze seated Buddha image or Phra Mongkhon Bophit is one of the largest bronze Buddha images in Thailand with its measures of 9.5 meters across the lap and a height of 12.5 meters. The Buddha image is seated in the position of Subduing Mara. During the second fall of Ayutthaya, the building and the image were badly destroyed by fire. The present Vihara and Buddha image have been reconstructed and renovated in the reign of King Rama V. The open area located east of the Vihara was formerly Sanam Luang, where royal cremation ceremonies took place.

5.00Guide was very informative and very funny. The tour was a great experience over all. The temples were beautiful. I did not have small enough bills when entering the temples for them to give change so the guide was kind enough to cover my admission fees until I could repay him at the end of the tour.

5.00Despite the afternoon heat, the tour was fantastic! Our guide, Aey, and driver were attentive and considerate throughout the entire experience. She even bought us drinks a few times to help us cool down. With the flexibility of our private tour, we were able to spend as much time as we wanted at each site. Our driver, Mr. Kit (forgive me if I have misspelled his name), expertly navigated the traffic both in and out of Bangkok. The ride to Ayutthaya was smooth and comfortable, without any jerky movements. We enjoyed a delicious meal at an open-air restaurant. Since we finished the tour a bit early, Aey graciously offered a shopping stop, but we chose to head back to the hotel to escape the heat. Thank you, Aey and Mr. Kit!

5.00A nice tour with Sophie as our guide. Sophie was good at explaining things and at times perhaps went overboard. All well intentioned, but may be good give the clients some breathing room. We also had an excellent driver whose name we don’t recall, but she was resourceful negotiating traffic and safe.

5.00I had a an amazingly pleasant day with my tour guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind and thoughtful. She chose a restaurant where I was able to try savory Thai food and the best butterfly pea drink. It was quite hot and humid during our tour, and she was cognizant of the heat and provided me water and fruit. She’s a star!

5.00Wonderful day in Ayutthaya on our private tour with Aey. She and the driver picked us up at our hotel and drove us north of Bangkok. We spent the day touring the ancient city while earning the history. Great lunch at a local restaurant and a tour of the palace. Aey was very knowledgeable of the city and it's rich history. Highly recommended if you wish to avoid large groups and have a customized experience.

2.00I tried to send a confirmation email the day before, but I was picked up at the wrong hotel. Therefore, I waited at the hotel entrance for an hour. Tour companies are not responding well to phone calls. The tour drivers were very friendly and responsive. He was a good driver and accepted our wishes. The restaurants I was introduced to were clean, staff friendly, affordable and tasted good. I finished my Ayutthaya sightseeing ahead of schedule, so on my way back to Bangkok, I stopped at a fake floating market and elephant stand for tourists, even though I hadn't asked. A 10-minute boat ride through dirty, smelly ponds costs 200 baht per person. It's high boring and the worst attraction of child deception. You shouldn't go.

5.00Our driver picked us up on time at the hotel and the ride went smoothly. We visited all the planned temples and were even able to visit one or two more. Visits have adapted to our pace. Only small downside: the recommended restaurant was not good. Extremely comfortable car for 2 (mini van)
