Next We can enjoy atmosphere of old japan at Iroha alleys. There are more than 100 small stores such as bars, restaurants and unique select shops in this narrow alley.

I can’t recommend this tour enough. Ms Mai was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the area where she guide her tours. Without Ms Mai’s assistance I would never be able to enjoy my stay in Sendai as much and, besides introducing me to the lovely izakayas we went to, she also gave me valuable tips about places to go during my day trips. I am really grateful for her assistance and also for the great chats we had.

I can highly recommend this tour for travellers who want to experience the drinking and food culture of Sendai. I had the chance to try various Japanese sake and food in a variety of traditional Izakaya, which were all very delicious. Mai, the tour guide, spoke very good English and is also very knowledgeable and friendly. Mai also goes out of her way to find Izakaya that suit her guest's drink and food tastes so you will never go hungry. I highly recommend this tour for groups or single travellers! 🤗

Mai's tour is a MUST if you are traveling to Sendai for a few days. I highly recommend doing the tour on your first night in town, as she showed us places we kept coming back to. The people of Sendai are wonderful!
