2.00We did this tour on a Sunday and we’re able to get around Beirut pretty efficient. The tour was offered in English but the tour guide didn’t speak to good of English. He could do the tour in Arab or French better, per him. Souks part of the tour says 2 hours, more like 5 minutes. While the souks are mostly closed there are other historic places listed in that area to go to but we didn’t see any of that. Only stop at the souks area is the I love Beirut sign. But don’t expect your guide to offer to take a picture of you in front of that or anything else. Boat ride around Beirut was the best part about it. Tour was about 3.5 hours. Part of that time was eating lunch too.

5.00There was some confusion with the booking. But it turned out to be a good trip. I wish I had more time to cover the region with the guide. He was quite knowledgeable and hospitable. Seeing Beirut with a local, through the eyes of local really made the day worth it all. Great experience, it was chill and I learned a lot in a short time. I will be back. Highly recommend.
