While the day was nice and we did see some beautiful scenery, the van had 3 of our group in backward facing seats which wasn’t enjoyable for them. One of the reasons we booked the tour was to see Fairy Glen, which we didn’t get to see. The tour guide never communicated we weren’t going to see it even though it was part of the tour. Very disappointed. He gave us timelines at each stop and we adhered to the schedule so I don’t what went wrong. We didn’t find out that we weren’t going to see Fairy Glen until I asked and we were on the way back. I contacted the tour and received a response that if I ever come back, they would take us the site we missed. To us, not a great response. We loved Scotland and if we returned we would book with Mike at Historic and Scenic Tours.

The tour was a bit pricey (charged per person rather than by car) BUT worth every penny! Callum was local and could provide commentary and knowledge of our sites that only someone who was from the Isles could provide. Excellent driver, knew where to take us to see the sights and was a pleasure to spend the day with

What an incredible day! Our guide, Jim, was highly knowledgeable, outgoing, and an excellent storyteller. I learned so much about Scottish history, and got to see the most spectacular scenery. And Highland Cows!

Skye as a beautiful as we had hoped! One day is not enough to see most of it, so we only concentrated on walking up to the Old Man of Storr and a photo stop at Eilean Donan Castle which was on the way to Skye from Fort Willam, but we also got to take the ferry on the way back and got to see the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Our driver and guide was James, who was well versed in local history and really made the trip quite wonderful.
