  Overall we had a great day! Francesco was a very friendly and knowledgeable captain that got us everywhere we wanted to go! Fair warning for the rough seas - only thing that put a damper on the day, but totally out of his control! Would consider this if you have people in your party that get sea sick easily. Otherwise, it was a beautiful memorable day, and still would recommend this experience!

  We took a private tour with 3 adults and a toddler. It was a little confusing at the port because there was no one at dock 21 when we arrived and it took a while for the tour operator to respond on WhatsApp. However once we found someone to page our captain, the boat arrived timely. We actually started the tour early. Our captain Giudano was awesome. He took us straight to Blue Grotto. When we arrived he indicated that the wait was about 30 mins. However, he was able the flag someone to take us in sooner since we were traveling with a baby and we were.there maybe 15 mins. The Blue Grotto as well as all stops were amazing. This was the best way to see the island especially if you want to see the grottos. This experience was worth the money and much better than being part of a larger tour, as it gives you lots of flexibility. Note: for travelers who get sea sick, the funicular boat is probably not the best option for you as it is small compared to the other boats so you definitely get tossed around and splashed a bit by the waves. Giudano did a great job navigating the waves to create a fairly smooth experience. The other thing is make sure you take the 8:05 ferry over and start the boat tour by 9:30. Go to Blue grotto first so that you don’t lose so much time. As the day goes on, the line for blue grotto can exceed 2 hours. Lastly, you will want to make sure you have EU to tip the guy who takes you into the grotto as well as your ship captain. Couldn’t have had a better time on this first trip to Capri. Hope to return and spend more time on the island.

  Gianluca, our captain, was an amazing host and knowledgeable guide. He has a warm and fun-loving personality which was perfect for our family (2 small kids). We had an incredible time and will always remember jumping off the boat into the water which Gianluca recommended!
