This tour was both jaw dropping as well as educational. We were taught about the area, the locals and the history. Slovenia is a true gem of a country. I would like to thank Primoz, our guide.

Views from top cable car station at Vogel were good. Savica waterfalls was average, and in retrospect not worth the trek. Bohinj lake - we were taken to only one viewpoint. Although this was a private trip, the tour company (Palma Travels) provided a guide who usually does short 2hr city tours and did not seem too familiar with this tour. He was a nice elderly gentleman but failed to make the tour engaging and lively. We asked to be taken to good photo locations but he did not have a clue and photography did not seem to be of interest to him. We have been doing daily excursions with different tour companies and this one by Palma Travels was the least enjoyed and poor value for money. This is extremely rare in any country as private trips cost more money and customers expect better service.
