What To Expect
The Decouverte Discovery Tour du Vin is a private Canberra boutique winery tour. It runs for around 5 hours. You will visit local Canberra wineries, most of which you will be talking with the owners and winemakers directly at the cellar door. Your tour price includes all wine tastings and lunch at one of the vineyards as well as your friendly, professional wine obsessed tour guide. Visits to at least three local Canberra wineries including wine tasting Lunch at one of the vineyards Pickup and drop-off to your choice of location in the Canberra region Friendly, professional and Canberra wine obsessed tour guide Refrigerated cold drinks available in the vehicle All our tours are private tours. You will not be mixed with other groups. We always try to tailor tours to include wineries you would like to visit or specific types of wine you prefer.

Exceptional Canberra Wine Tour with Van Du Vin

5.00Our wine tour with Laura at Van Du Vin was outstanding. She demonstrated genuine expertise about local Canberra region and international wines, and made the entire experience accessible and enjoyable regardless of our wine knowledge. The tour was perfectly paced throughout the day. Travel between the selected local Canberra wineries was comfortable, giving us ample time to taste and absorb information without feeling rushed. Laura's behind-the-scenes insights about the winemakers and regional wine industry were particularly valuable. Laura contextualised Canberra's offerings against established wine regions in France, Italy, Germany, Europe, and America in ways that really improved our understanding. What stood out most was the welcoming atmosphere. The winery owners personally served each tasting and explained their winemaking process with enthusiasm and clarity. There was never any pressure to purchase, and we never felt inadequate.. The lunch stop was thoughtfully timed, allowing us to relax and enjoy the surroundings on our own. Van Du Vin delivered a well-organised, professionally executed tour that enhanced our knowledge and appreciation of Canberra wines. We highly recommend it.

5.00Picked up exactly on time by the extremely knowledgeable Laura, driven in a very comfortable car to Murrumbateman wine region. The wineries she selected were all different and the service at all was great. I really liked sitting down to taste test, much better than standing at the bar. Scrummy lunch at Brindabella, and wine ordered delivered to car for us at each winery. We lingered longer than we should but it was no problem to Laura. We would highly recommend this excellent tour, and it’s equally excellent tour guide. Thank you Laura.

5.00Besides the War Memorial and Parliment House, Canberra's wine region is a must visit for visiters and locals alike. What better way to enjoy this experience and learn so much about our wines and the wine makers than joining Laura on a private tour of four wineries of your choosing. We recently enjoyed our second experience (both celebrating birthdays) learning, laughing and making wonderful memories. We have wonderful wines to savour later and we didn't have to worry about driving as we were collected from home. Laura has an exceptional knowledge of Canberra wines building on her background from her experience in Bordeaux. She is the consummate host and guide; informative, polite, accomplished, considerate, flexible.

5.00Laura is an amazing host she is passionate about wine and has amazing experience and knowledge to help guide you through the tour. Laura knows all the winemakers and gave us great insights into the region and what it produces. She is an absolute delight and made our day so enjoyable nothing was too much trouble. Everything flowed seamlessly and even though we ran a little late at the end it was not an issue. Loved the lunch at Four Winds Vineyard their pizza is amazing. Cant wait to do it again!

5.00We recently celebrated a birthday with family and close friends on a wine tour hosted by the wonderful Laura from Van Du Vin Canberra Winery Tours, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The day was personalised for us perfectly, taking us to three stunning local wineries, a truffle farm, and finishing with delicious wood-fired pizzas, chocolate, and cheese tastings. Allergies were catered for, and preferences in wines considered in the planning. Every stop featured friendly, knowledgeable staff who added to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Laura herself was an outstanding host—worldly, professional, and incredibly warm and approachable. Her wealth of knowledge about the region and its producers truly enhanced the experience. Travelling between destinations in her beautifully presented car added a touch of luxury and comfort to the day. This tour was the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, and I couldn’t recommend this small business more highly to anyone looking to create unforgettable memories in the Canberra region.
