People's Committee Building
The People’s Committee Building Saigon in central Ho Chi Minh City features well-preserved French colonial architecture in a spacious garden landscape. Originally constructed as a hotel in 1898 by French architect Gardes, it now serves as a city hall and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Occupying the end of Nguyen Hue walking promenade, it has three buildings with embossed statues of animals and people, intricate bas-reliefs on the walls, as well as a statue of Ho Chi Minh in front of the main building.

5.00We drove comfortably and with A/C to the city. The drive was around 1.5 hour from port. There we met May. May was very accommodating to our wishes and likes. First thing she asked was what we wanted to do and see. We did our own private personal tour with her and discovered the city, the war remnants museum and did some shopping in local markets as well as the shopping center. Thank you for a great time in Ho Chi Minh City!

5.00Read reviews on Mui Ne Private Car company before trip to Vietnam. Communicated via WhatsApp, got quick response, pricing and booked for pick up at Phu My port. Driver was on time, reliable, and van was clean, air conditioned and very comfortable. Commute from port to HCMC took 1 hr 15 min or longer depending on traffic. Our itinerary included Opera house, Notre Dame Cathedral (closed- under construction) Central Post Office, drive by Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Ben Thanh Market & Saigon Central. If you want self guided tour this is ok. Driver was able to understand enough English to get by.
