What To Expect
Palmeira
Palmeira & Monte Leon Tour – Authentic Fishing Village and Nature Experience on Sal Guests are picked up directly from their hotel in Santa Maria and driven to the charming fishing village of Palmeira on the west coast of Sal Island. Palmeira offers an authentic glimpse into local life with its lively harbor, colorful fishing boats, and fresh fish market—far from the typical tourist areas. After a short stop at the harbor, the tour continues to the anchorage at Monte Leon. Here, guests can swim, snorkel, and fish while enjoying the natural beauty of the island. Throughout the tour, all-inclusive drinks and snacks are provided for guests to enjoy. Following this, the boat returns to the harbor of Palmeira before guests are transferred back to their hotel in Santa Maria.

A beautiful private afternoon on the Atlantic!

5.00A perfect afternoon - it started with a very comfortable pickup from the Hotel Morabeza in the SUV, then a quick transfer in the motorboat to the catamaran. There was a brief welcome and briefing by the 3-man crew and off we went to sea. After an hour's drive then a 1-hour stop for swimming, sunbathing and snacking, and finally an hour back to the port. Fortunately, there was enough wind and waves to make you really feel at home on the sea! No cheap private tour overall, but it was worth it and was like the icing on the cake for our holiday in Sal!

1.00Friendly team , but too superficial, with rough seas above 20 knots it becomes critical, no consideration for seasick, no course change. Snorkeling etc. not possible at all, respectively no adequate region. The return trip with the Rib from Anchorage of the catamaran was negligent in high waves. In such circumstances you have to cancel the boat trip.
