The Basílica Menor del Santo Niño de Cebú, commonly known as the Santo Niño Basilica, is a minor basilica in Cebu City in the Philippines that was founded in the 1565 by Fray Andrés de Urdaneta, O.S.A. and Fray Diego de Herrera, O.S.A. NOTE: Proper dresscode are observed in all churches in the Philippines
Magellan's Cross
Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on 16 or 17 March 1521. NOTE: Magellan’s Cross and Basilica del Sto Niño will be inaccessible during the Novena mass from January 9 to 20, 2025. All roads nearby the church will be closed.

5.00It was a great tour! We were lucky to have Mr. Al (Edwin) with us. It was a day full of teaching and very dynamic. Cebu is a city with a great history, worth knowing apart from its beach activities.

5.00Our driver was excellent. Make sure to confirm all entries are included. Our driver was not informed and had to pay for all entry fees. Also, there was no restriction noted to enter the Basilica so we were not allowed entry with sleeves shirts and shorts. From: Rossana Tisdale

3.00The private tour of Cebu city & Lapu Lapu was ok. Our driver was not very interactive. We often had to ask him what we were looking at while we drove around the city. He did not have good “tour guide” knowledge of the city and places we were going. However he was polite and wonderful to spend the day traveling the city with. The car was clean and comfortable. We were able to navigate Cebu city & Lapu Lapu with ease. It was just unfortunate that the tour itself was subpar due to the fact that our driver for the day was more of just a private driver and not a tour guide and this booking is listed as a private tour of the city.

5.00We booked 6 people early the day before the tour and things were confirmed quickly. The communication through the Viator app was effective and prompt. We had a good time with our driver, Arnold, and tour guide, Jonathan. He does speak quietly but if you let him know, he will adjust to make sure you can hear him. He was very thoughtful and considerate of us. We visited all the sites on our tour except one because of a road closure. Which was understandable since we were touring shortly after the Sinulog Festival.

3.00It was advertised as a private tour. But it was really only a private driver. Not a tour guide. We were on our own at each drop off. Driver does not enter any of the paid sites. So we we left on our own to figure it out and take our own photos.
