What To Expect
From the base of the volcano, we started a hike on a rocky path established by carrying the material for the practice of sandboarding, (you can also pay a guy who lives in the communities in the area to make you carry the material for $ 5) that led us to the mouth of the crater. Estimated ascent time: 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once at the top, from the summit of the volcano, we had incredible panoramic views of part of the Pilas-El Hoyo Volcanic Complex, and the Telica Volcano. From there, the descent with the board (sandboarding) can be done in 2 to 5 minutes depending on the speed you reach with the board. Visit as well the two activate craters, feel the heat, smell the gases and enjoy the wonderful views.

Literally the worst. After constant calls + messages for details, they respond night before saying "we're cancelling"

1.00DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, if they even are a real company, for anything. Not surprising that the only other review is a 5-star from a new account with no other reviews. It says you'll hear from them after booking to discuss the time/place of pickup. I never heard from them. So I started messaging and calling every contact number/address they listed. No answers. Kept on trying day and night, since I was going to be busing to Leon beforehand and needed to know how early to go. Eventually they responded to a WhatsApp message with a simple "so glad you reached out because actually, we're cancelling". Who knows if they would have ever even reached out the day of to mention that update if I hadn't been constantly messaging. Not only cancelled short notice, but the most awful customer service in the process. Still trying to get my money back through Viator (where I booked it)
