5.00We had a great tour of Snow Monkey Park! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to our interests. It was incredible to see so many macaque monkeys in the hot springs and learn about Japan's conservation efforts. We were able to skip the line with the tour's pre-purchased tickets. After the tour, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and nostalgic charm of Hotareutei. In the afternoon, we walked the mystical cedar-lined path of beautiful Tagakushi Shrine State Park. Our guide told us about this spiritual and cultural area with the five interconnected shrines. It was a lovely, enjoyable walk along the snow-covered, tree-lined path.
