For your next stop, your tuk tuk ride will take you inside the Old City where temples and other historic sites reside. Make your stop at Wat Chedi Luang, the 'Temple of Big Stupa'. Constructed between the 14th and 15th century, this temple was the home of the famous Emerald Buddha which can now be found in the Grand Palace of Bangkok.

We were picked up at the hotel, perfectly on time. It’s super handy to have a tuktuk waiting for you all the time, whereever you are. I knew upfront what I wanted to see, so I gave some “wishes” to the driver, but don’t expect him to be a guide. The driver was very patient, he brings you where you want. I would recommend the tour

We really had a great tour and got to see wonderful wats and cultural sites. The only input I have is that the tour should have specified in the description that visits would be scheduled to various arts centers which pressure high dollar purchases. I was not looking for that experience at all. We requested to skip the third, a silk shop and requested a local market instead. Our driver was wonderful otherwise.

The driver was great! He was so accommodating and adjusted the tour a little bit to avoid the peak afternoon sun (so hot).
