What To Expect
Ross Errily Friary
Said to be one of the most extensive and best-preserved Franciscan friaries throughout Ireland, the ruins of Ross Errilly Friary, founded in 1351, are still impressive in their surrounding landscape. The prominent de Burgh family were the chief patrons of the friary and often protected the friary ensuring peaceful times. However, in 1538, English authorities killed many friars along with imprisoning two hundred. From this point, Ross Errilly rarely found peace due to consistent confiscation from the English until it was completely abandoned around two hundred years later
Killary Sheep Farm
Killary Sheep Farm in Connemara is a traditional working mountain farm with approx. 200 ewes and lambs roaming freely in the mountain with spectacular scenery overlooking Killary Fjord, on the Wild Atlantic Way. On the farm you can find mainly blackhead horny sheep which are most suited to survive on the mountains during the harsh winters. Visitors can view the following demonstrations – Working sheepdog demonstrations. Sheep shearing demonstrations. Turf cutting demonstrations

5.00If you want to truly experience a proper tour - with legendary history and humor - look no further than this tour. We saw all the beauty of Conomera - with all the abbeys and the castles and the pubs. Bogdan was exceptional - we would hire him for every tour if we could. A true scholar and a gentleman. We know so much more about the history of this beautiful country because of this tour. The only thing better than the views and the stories was the incredible food at the restaurant that he set us up for us and that he was even kind enough to dine with our group at. From the lamb burger (life changing) to the oysters (best OF YOUR LIFE) - it was truly an awesome day. Bogdan took his time with us and tailored the tour to our liking. There is not an experience that I could recommend more and we have been on a lot of great tours on this beautiful trip. Book your tour now because he books up quick. Slainte con mucho Uisce beatha

5.00We had an amazing full-day tour of Connemara with our driver, DC. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and made the entire trip engaging and enjoyable. DC was fantastic with our kids, patient and fun, which made the day even more special for our family. He’s also an excellent driver, handling the narrow roads with ease and making us feel safe throughout the journey. He took us to all the must-see spots, including Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord, beautiful castles, and the stunning Sky Road. Each stop was breathtaking, and DC made sure we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend both the tour and DC!

5.00We enjoyed so many marvelous attractions. The absolute pinnacle was the visit to the sheep farm where we watched a sheep dog move the sheep at herder commands. Then we witnessed the herder sheer a sheep. Also got to cuddle and feed a baby lamb. Wow!

5.00What can i say Sorin your your was such a fantastic experience for me and my husbands extended family. They called us after returning to the UK to thank us/you for a fab tour and how much they enjoyed it We certainly covered a lot of ground and learned a lot from your chat something we missed years ago when we visited Connemara. You are a very talented tour guide, you take very good care of your passengers, kind, attentive, caring and very patient, at 92 years of age i'm not as quick on my feet as i used to be. It was a long day for your and your never complained or rushed us when we forgot about the clock. We will certainly give your name to all of our friens who might be looking for a fab tour guid. 5.00Our guide, Sorin, was so knowledgeable and interesting. He really made the tour come alive by explaining everything we were seeing and making the experience so much more entertaining than a typical tour. I highly recommend this tour to see as much as possible in one day.
